A few days later, Gerard is still avoiding me. I've managed to leave my room, so I'm sitting alone in the library, reading an old copy of Beauty And The Beast. The door creaks open and I see the raven haired vampire walk past my seat towards the staircase leading to the balcony.

I mentally prepare myself for the small amount of dialogue we'd gone through when in the same room as eachother for the past three days.

"Asshole."

"Bitch."

"Jerk."

It's been the same, whatever insults came to mind, we threw at eachother without a second thought on how the other would react. I can tell it's starting to annoy the other three vampires in the house.

"Hey Asshat!" I shouts with a smirk, marking my page and setting the closed book on the side table. "Fuckin slut." He says quietly. Too far... I look down at my hands in my lap as my smirk drops.

"Now I understand 'bitch' and 'crybaby' but where the hell did slut come from?" I ask, slightly pissed. "C'mon, you cant tell me you havent been messin around with Ray. I see him sneaking in and out of your room." He states.

"Literally, hes there for emotional support, since the man who had me fully convinced we were soulmates decided to be an ass-" I'm cut off as he appears in front of me within seconds, pinning my wrists to the wall behind my chair, teeth bared as his beautiful and familiar hazel eyes fade into a bright red.

My eyes widen out of fear, staying silent as my breathing quickens. "You're lucky I dont kick you out right now Y/N." He hisses, hearing my name from his lips stung, I've grown used to the pet names. His harsh tone certainly didnt help. Kick me out? "God(s) woman, how slow can you be? Put out, on the streets, you'd have a lot of fun finding your way back to your family."

I turn away, trying my best not to look at the man in front of me. I feel tears start to well up in my eyes and I shut them tight. "Awe, are ya gonna cry now? Pathetic." He sneers, "sh-shut up." I stutter out.

"Ya know, I should've left both you and your family to rot." He growls out, "and I should've staked you when I had the chance." I breathe out, locking my eyes on his. His piercing gaze seems to soften for a moment and his grip on my wrist loosens. I yank my hands from his grasp and his glare returns.

"Why dont you do it then? End it?" I stay silent, looking into his hazy red eyes as he stands, arms out to his sides. "No one else is around. C'mon sugar." He spits out the nickname like it was hazardous to his health, "no one would give a shit. C'mon treasure. Fucking end it all." Another nickname rolls off his tongue, like venom.

"Stop." I say quietly. He knocks over a table, breaking the leg off and dropping the makeshift stake into my hands. "Look, you're armed now, c'mon." He shouts. I stand, shaking my head and dropping the wood to the floor.

"C'mon Y/N, you know you want to." He smirks, "no. No I dont." I state, looking at him, tears building up in my eyes once more. "I don't want you dead. Cause whether I like it or not, I care about you." I stop, tears cascading down my cheeks as the door to the library opens to reveal the other three vampires in the doorway.

He looks at me, eyes flickering between hazel and red, as if deciding how he feels about the situation. They finally settle on the familiar red glow. I frown and look to the ground, wiping away tears. "I know when I'm no longer wanted. I'll pack my shit." I state, looking back up and holding my chin high in an attempt to hide the painful mixture of emotions I feel rushing through my body.

I step out of the library, gently pushing through the other three and heading to my room. Once I make it there, I pull my suitcase out from under the bed, quickly packing my belongings. I shove my cd player and collection back into the same bag I brought them here in, and my clothes down into the suitcase. Only one thing comes with me that I didnt bring in the first place.

The jacket I'm wearing is his.

Of course, as the thought passes through my brain, I drop to the floor. I slowly pull my knees up close to my body, resting my head on them as tears slowly fall down my face.

The door creaks open and a familiar dark haired vampire steps into the room. "Y/N..." Mikey trails off lighty, stepping over to me and sitting next to me on the floor. "You're not leaving are you?" He asks after a moment of silence.

I nod slowly, before speaking up "yeah Mikes... I'm leaving." I state, he looks at the ground, poker face cracking as I notice a tear slip down his cheek. "Don't go Y/N... please, don't go?" He begs, voice breaking.

"I'm sorry Mikey... I'd stay, but I think... I think maybe it's best for everyone that I leave." I say, voice wavering as I look at the usually stone faced man, now in tears in front of me.

I hold my arms out to him, offering some form of comfort. He wraps his arms around my waist, as I pull him into a hug. "I understand..." he trails off, resting his head on my shoulder. "And I'll always be here if you need anything," He finishes quietly.

"Thank you Mikey." I respond as another tear escapes down the side of my face. "Can you at least stay one more night?" He asks, I think on it for a moment, before slowly nodding.

"Yeah Mikey, I'll stay..." I trail off.
