The Ceremony

After I left to meet with my friends, I felt like something was calling me. It was like a person was calling my name.

When I arrived at Mathew's place, I found Serene and Katie there as well. 

"Well well, its about the prince shows up" Serene said.

"Oh come on, not because I live in a big house means I'm a prince" I replied.

"Let's not forget you have Andrius in your family's family tree" a voice said from behind me, I did not need to look behind to know who it is.

"You're the last one to talk about royalty and fame here." Katie mentioned.

"Yeah right, anyways. What did you guys call me here for??" I asked.

"I've heard the galaxy has appeared once more, do you have any idea if it's true?" Mathew announced.

Dad told me not to tell anyone about it, does that include my bestfriend? I don't know. Do I tell him or do I stay quiet? I have a million thoughts in my head, and one of them is to tell Mathew or no. 

"Leo?" Serene asked, and I was brought back to reality.

"Y-yes?"

"You seem troubled, what's wrong?" Mathew stated.

"Oh, I-I'm okay.." 

I saw on their faces that they did not buy it.

"Guys, really, there's nothing wrong with me" I said.

Mathew sighed and nodded, "Anyways-"

"No, I don't have information about it, yet, I'm also on the look out for it"

"Oh snap, we gotta get moving, the ceremony is in an hour." Katie said.

"I-I'll catch up later with you guys, Mathew? You coming?" I protested.

"Oh right. Wait for me Leo!"

I heard Katie and Serene talk, from what I was able to understand was "Leo is one of a boy isn't he?"

"Someone has a crush"

"Oh stop it"

"So? Why didn't you tell us the truth inside?" Mathew asked.

"My dad told me to tell no one about it but you, even my own mum and sister don't know"

"Why me?"

"I'm not answering that, because you know what my answer will be."

"Hmm, maybe because... I'm your bestfriend"

"Idiot." I said.

"Bruh what?" 

"You heard me"

"Why"

"Because I'm choosing you for my companion, if I am chosen to be a dragon master, and if you are a rider yourself, I will choose Serene for my companion,  and promise me you will choose Katie"

Mathew smiled and said, "That's the Leo who I met in playschool."

"Oh please!"

"What?"

"We're here you stupid head"

"Right"

Right infront of us stood a a massive mansion. A Nissan was parked before the fountain. We walked up to the golden gates. I put m finger on the scanner and the gate slid to the right and let us through. We were walking on a stone path to the main house. As Mathew and I approached the steps to the door, a figure was there. There he was, my uncle.
