"What makes you cry?"

There was no hesitation seen in the face of the woman being asked. Instead, she smiled and said,

"Pain."

The tour guide turned to look at me and asked reversely, "You. What makes you stop from crying?"

A minute passed as I opened my mouth bitterly,

"Pain."

People often see pain as an opponent. Something that breaks them into two.

That is the main reason why most people are broken. When in fact, pain is not really the breaker but rather, the molder.

We can use it to build a stronger version of ourselves. Someone who is not broken nor hopeless. Someone who is just empowered.
