"We only have one set of materials left to make a light."

Senku explained.

"The last member of our exploration team will be... Magma."

The others looked very suprised and shocked but you just sighed.

You had predicted this.

'I understand why they're worried but it should be fine.'

'After all, even if I dislike him, we need all the manpower we can get.'

You saw Gen stealthily whispering something to Magma.

'So he told him. That's good...'

You noted.

The exploration team was just about to leave when you quickly sprinted over to Senku and gave him a hug.

"Be careful."

You whispered.

"I will."

You smiled at him, like the innocent sweet girl you were, and waved at their retreating figures.

As soon as they were out of sight, you and Gen looked at each other and smirked.

"Bastard. He's finally gone."

"Senku-chan has finally left Ishigami Village."

"Let's get down to business now, shall we..."

"They're coming!"

Ginrou whisper yelled.

"Everyone get into place!"

You hurriedly instructed.

Not even a minute later Magma brought in a blind folded Senku.

"Hey, Senku-chan. Welcome back."

Gen welcomed in a sinister tone.

"Huh? What's going on?"

The confused Senku asked.

You had to cover your mouth to contain a snicker.

Kohaku laughed evily.

"Don't even bother trying to call for help, Senku."

"Everyone in the village is with Gen, now."

Kohaku declared.

"Heh, so you bastards finally figured it out, huh?"

"All you need to do is offer science and my head to Tsukasa, on a plate and the village would be safe."

"It's pretty logical."

He explained with a painful smile.

"But I do have one last request..."

"Please let [Y/n] stay here."

Your heart stung but you smacked Senku nonetheless.

"What the f*ck are you talking about-?!"

You huffed in annoyance.
