Chapter 29: Dreams

Almost a month is about to be passed as Nishikata and Takagi-san continued their status quo throughout October. With halloween being tomorrow, Takagi-san is confident that in that day, her teasing will be the most fundamental and critical attacks Nishikata will have to face. Sooner or later, she dreams that they'll be together eventually.

It was nighttime, a few hours before the clock hits 12. Our Teasing Master has her sleeping attire and was ready to go to sleep. But before she would do that, she would open her window to stargaze at the beautiful night every single day. It felt like a daily routine for her at this point. She always admired the stars that shined and soared in the sky. Hoping that her dreams will come true when time comes.

"
Knowing that her mom doesn't like her to sleep very late, she didn't really immerse her experiences and feelings to the full extent. She only felt her love grow back in their camping trip when they were second year.

"Someday.... Someday." She said to herself. Reminiscing the time that her dreams would come true when Nishikata had to hide from Tanabe-sensei (Their former adviser back in the day). Not by chance but by fate, she was able to feel love without needing the will to tease often.

As she continues to stargazing at night, Nishikata had already finished his sets of push-ups before going to bed. Sometimes, he usually wakes up late because of the countless assignments he had to accomplish at a short time. He even started to get eyebags because of his common procrastinations nowadays. It felt like an extra burden to him since the teasing has rotten his brain a bit.

Every night, he could only think rest, rest, and rest. But acknowledging that his only goal is to beat Takagi-san, he ignores his his health than the bigger picture.

It started to stress Nishikata. Which is why he wasn't always being him whenever Takagi-san was close. Moreover, Takagi-san felt that something was wrong as well but she didn't want to take the risk to ruin their relationship she has built even since they first met.

"Sigh....Tomorrow's the 31st of October. Halloween. I gotta still mental if Takagi-san tries to trick me into any of her treats. I could imagine her teasing me to Oblivion." Nishikata was tired. All he could think about is sleep. Until Takagi-san called him before bed.

"Argh..... Its probably Kimura messaging meaningless stuff again." He ignores the ringing as he turns of the lights. Hibernating himself until morning.

"Hm... That's the first." Takagi-san was a bit surprised that Nishikata, her crush didn't answer. She called twice but Nishikata activated his phone into silent mode.

"Oh well. I guess I'll ask him tomorrow. He must be very tired." Takagi-san was starting to get concerned of him because of the recent expressions and emotions he made since he started calling her Takagi-san without a honorific.

She turns the lights in her room. Closes the window and proceeds to snuggle with her blanket. Making comfort for her dreams to be wholesome and true.

Takagi-san closes her eyes, drifting of to sleep. Eventually, she begins to dream. A dream that seems wholesome as expected.

At her first glances, she sees Nishikata standing near the beach at sunset. Takagi-san eagerly wanting to talk to him, walks to where he is standing. With her attempt to these him from the back. Nishikata tells her that he knows that she is behind him with a serious tone.

Takagi-san doesn't attempt to tease so she ignores it. Following him up on what he is doing.

"Well I knew you were here as well. Nishikata-senpai."
