"What did you write?" He gave me a puzzled expression.
"I wrote ' I'm pregnant.'" I whispered.
"What?" He gasped.
"I'm pregnant. I found out last night." I looked up at him, nervous for his reaction.
"Are you serious?!" He exclaimed. "Am I really gonna be a dad?"
"Yes and yes." I barely squeaked out because he gently wrapped his arms around my waist and engulfed me in a hug and I instinctively twisted to face him and wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. I must say though the waist part may have been a mistake because prior to me telling him he had already had a boner and me telling him that I'm pregnant didn't help and next thing I knew he was easing his way into me. He was very slow and cautious not to hurt me or put too much pressure on my stomach. After a while of kissing and moaning he finished inside me.
"The bath water is getting too cold for you, we should get out and get dressed then you need to rest, it's a lot of work to make and grow a baby after all, at least so I've heard." He kept hugging me for a moment then he stood up while I pulled the plug to let the water out, once he was out and had a towel on he reached down to help me up. Once I had a towel on I started to walk towards the closet to change. Once I was in the closet I grabbed a pair of underwear, a t- shirt and some shorts and got dressed. Once I was dressed I looked down at my beautiful engagement ring. Even though I had had it for over a month now I still couldn't believe how beautiful it was, it had one thin golden band that had a texture like waves would and a diamond placed in a gold holder. My wedding ring is going to be identical to my engagement ring except it won't have the diamond. Alex's wedding ring is going to be a thick gold band and when you look at it it'll be the same texture as mine but silver.
I was snapped out of my thoughts by a knock at the door followed by Alex walking in with his towel still on.
"Once I get changed we can turn on the TV and watch some movies." Alex said as he walked in and dropped his towel once he grabbed a pair of boxers. We walked over to the bed and snuggled together as I picked a movie for us to watch.
Thanksgiving day (two weeks later)
I got up early today so I could start the turkey. I will admit in the previous years mom made cooking turkey seem very easy, but it was definitely not easy. Once I got the turkey in the oven I went to grab the potatoes to start on the mashed potatoes which were very easy. After I started the potatoes I started to make our cupcakes that will tell our families about the baby when Alex walked in all groggy and with messy hair. My mom was bringing cranberry sauce, apple pie, and stuffing. Alex's step-mom and his dad were bringing the corn, green bean casserole, and the pumpkin pie. Stuart and Emma were bringing stuffing, and lemon meringue pie. Alex's brother and sister-in-law were bringing potato salad, deviled eggs, and jello salad. Alex's Grandma was going to bring key lime pie which apparently was the best.
Once Alex got a cup of coffee he walked up behind me, "Good morning." He grumbled. He came up and hugged me from behind. "Anything I can help with?"
I thought about that for a second, I had to give him something to do that wouldn't burn the whole building down. "You can help me with the frosting once I put the cupcakes in the oven." I carefully poured the cupcake batter into the liners and carefully put them in the oven. I looked over at the clock and saw that we only had four hours until our families would arrive which meant we had to be done in three hours so that we could get ready in time.
"Alright let's start on the frosting so we can let it chill before we put it on the cupcakes." I turned towards the cupboard that had the powdered sugar in it and of course it was on the top shelf just as I grabbed it I accidentally slipped just as I thought I was going to hit the floor and get powdered sugar everywhere I felt a firm pair of hands of my waist and then I felt a thud on my chest which I assumed was the powdered sugar but I was too busy trying to make sure that my hand was ok.
