White House Down | Seven

(Right after the events of chapter Six)

Apollo quickly pressed the button on his wall that called Harry.

Harry: Yes?

Apollo: GET EVERY AMERICAN OPERATOR IN THE MESS HALL, NOW!

Harry disconnected.

Apollo: Hold up for a minute.

Apollo geared up and rushed towards the mess hall.

PA: All American operators to the Mess Hall as soon as possible. Gear not required.

Suddenly the sound of doors slamming open is heard.

*1 Minute Later*

Harry: What is it that you need Apollo?

Apollo: I need to speak on the platform.

Harry: Alright.

Apollo goes to the podium when he's suddenly called by Nelson.

Nelson: Apollo, the VP is KIA. The White House is no longer secure, it's been overrun.

Apollo: Shit, thanks Nelson.

Apollo disconnected and spoke up.

Apollo: To explain this in full, I have a device implanted in my wrist called the PMCR. Now that's besides the point. I want all ears to what I say next.

All of them look up.

Apollo: The White House is Down, President Trump and Vice President Pence are KIA, Harry as the Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces I will now be taking control of all American operators until further notice, is that clear?

Harry: Yes Lieutenant.

Apollo: Alright boys, gear up! We're going to Ground Zero!

The American operators took off.

Apollo: Harry, I may need reinforcements, so could I have Blitz and the Spetsnaz come?

Harry: Permission granted. I'll send a message to Alexandr to make sure that they know to get ready, along with Blitz.

Apollo then calls Alex.

Apollo: You guys in Westphalia?

Alex: No, me and Kooper are in South Korea taking care of some rioters.

Apollo: Fuck, alright have you got the news?

Alex: No.

Apollo: White House Down. 

Apollo then calls Nelson.

Nelson: Yes sir.

Apollo: As the temporary President of the United States I want all air traffic over US air space grounded, I want the Navy to all return to US waters and be on patrol, get the Coast Guard on standby, get the Air Force ready for anything, and get the Army, Seals, Marines, and Rangers back into the US.

Nelson: Sir, I've just gotten word that New York is under attack.

Apollo's eyes widened.

Apollo: Nelson, we are under DEFCON III, Confirmation Code: Alpha Romeo Tango Three.

Nelson: Affirmative sir. I just got word sir, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland are under attack.

Apollo: Do we know who the attacking force is!?
