KANG DAERYUL was full of regret the next day. ( just as minhyuk predicted )
she looked over at the messages she sent the previous night and she fought the urge to unblock her mother's number and apologize.
she was too ashamed to apologize, she knew that her words would hurt her mother, but convinced herself that this was the right thing to do.
jihun and jihan took her out to eat lunch with hyein, another one of their best friends. the four of them went to their favorite restaurant, a barbecue place that was owned by a famous idol's father. eclipse's ryu sunjae to be exact, but daeryul didn't really pay attention to that.
the whole time, she kept spacing out and checking her phone like she was waiting for something to appear on it. her best friends noticed it and shared knowing looks, jihun, who was beside the short haired girl took action.
"dae, don't be so anxious. i'm sure your mom will try to contact you through minhyuk"
"i know, that's why i blocked her number and muted minhyuk's"
ye jihan and go hyein mentally face palmed.
"ryu, what he means is if you're really bothered, just unblock your mom's number and talk to her. i'm sure she'll understand why you reacted that way"hyein encouraged her clearly troubled best friend of 12 years.

daeryul sensed a panic attack coming, the tears threatening to fall from her eyes as she recalls the messages she sent her mother the previous night.
