(Y/n) POV
After school the same day me and Stella were at the dinner table picking around our food "Yuck, Dad." Stella comments as dad was about to take a bite of fish from his plate.
I shake my head in disgust "How can you eat that?"
"Imagine how that poor fish felt" Stella adds
"Fish don't feel pain" our brother Tommy comments
I groan and look over at Tommy "Just because you don't see agony doesn't mean it's not there"
Tommy starts messing around with a toy while Timmy looks over at us "When did you two become vegetarians?"
Our dad looks over at us as I hand Stella some rice "Yeah when did, this happen?"
Stella looks at her shirt she changed into after school that says 'vegetarians rock!' while I scoff "Four months ago."
Stella looks up from her shirt and sighs "Wow. For a bunch of geniuses, you people don't pay very good attention."
Our brother Timmy looks over at us "Because it's stupid Y/n and Stella"
I roll my eyes as mom looks up from her phone "Timmy!"
Stella sets her cup on the table and turns to mom and dad "Sorry we're not out inventing biodegradable plastic, or making my own toys,
I perk up in sarcasm "or, oh, yeah, curing cancer."
Dad looks over at Stella and I "We haven't cured it yet, honey."
I sigh and look at my dad "Hello! I know that."
Stella decides to speak up from me "We may not be a genius, which is, like, I don't know, a genetic abnormality in this family."
"But, we can do things too, you know?" I comment
Stella looks at me and smiles "We could start a revolution," we both say at the same time.
Dad nods his head clearly not listening to us "That's, uh, nice, dears."
