I was finally the day of Rising Star waiting in the wing we watch as the crowd roars when the announcer shouts "Ladies and gentlemen, Rising Star presents, Mudslide Crush."

Ray then walks closer to the wings and winks over at me as he starts to sing his next line

"They really are..." Charlie starts to say

"...very, very good." Wen finished

Ray and Scott

The crowd cheers as Scott and Ray get off stage, and of course, Ray being Ray he looks at Stella and comments "Top that."

Stella smirks "Oh, we will, trust me."

Ray just laughs and walks off a bit but grabs ahold of my arm to pull me bind the curtains and press a quick kiss against my lips "Good luck."

I smile and kiss him one more time "Thanks."

I walk over and stand next to my sister waiting for the announcer to call us on stage "Ladies and gentlemen, Lemonade Mouth!" The crowd cheers and we start to get into places and try our best to play the instruments.

We end up failing after Olivia tries singing then we try to boost up the tempo but Olivia shakes her head. The crowd encourages us but we just give up on our instruments, I look over at Ray who gives me a thumbs up but I shake my head and take off my guitar.

We start to get off the stage but people start to stand up stopping us as we walk off stage "Trying hard to fight these tears I'm crazy worried...Messing with my head this fear I'm so sorry, You know you gotta get it out, I can't take it, That's what being friends is about"

More people start to stand up when both Scott and Ray come out of the wings "I, I wanna cry, I can't deny, Tonight I wanna up and hide! And get inside, It isn't right I wanna live in my life, I know, I know, I know I gotta do it, I know, I know, I know I gotta feel it"

Ray walks over to me and puts my guitar back on while laying a kiss to my forehead and guiding me over to everyone "Gotta turn the world into your dance floor Determinate, determinate, Push until you can't, and then demand more, Determinate, determinate"

I look over at the rest of the band and smile at them before looking over at Ray who was proudly standing next to me. I know he would never give up his band but it's nice that he finally supports me with my band. "You and me together, We can make it better, Gotta turn the world into your dance floor, Determinate, determinate."

"We didn't win Rising Star, but we won something bigger that night."

(Y/N) POV

After school the next day I met up with Ray at the park smiling to myself when I sit down next to him "Thank you"

Ray looks up from his phone and smiles over at me knowing why I was thanking him "Your welcome, you were right about many things and one of the main things being is I need to support you more"

I rest my head on his shoulder with a sigh looking over to see Mo talking to Scott and Charlie walking over to one of the girls that were smiling with him at lunch "You know I never imagined moving here would lead to everything that's happened"

Ray kisses the top of my head pulling me more into him with a sigh "Who knew a new girl would make me fall in love with her so quickly"

I perk up and look at Ray in the eyes "What?"

He sighs and places a hand on my cheek "I love you Y/n, and I'm already gonna tell you that I'm not going to be the perfect guy for you but I will always love you if you'll have me"

I smile and lean in and kiss him sweetly on the lips "I love you too Ray and of course I would love to have you" Ray's smile widen as he attacks me with kisses glad that were finally offical. I never really expected to fall in love with my enemy.
