6- SIX

*Anna's POV*

"Hey Anna. Wake up. We reached." Someone spoke.

WHO's calling me damn? I can't sleep.

I opened my eyes and saw Rylan's waking me up. We reached the campsite.

How is it possible that I woke up so easily?

I just nodded and got off the bus.

There were even students from another school.

I guess we are camping together.

I see a huge 10 storied building and that's where we will stay. Camping the whole day outside and to sleep, jump on to the building.

We went to the reception and asked for our room keys.

I took my keys and saw my room was on the 6th floor.

Room No.606

I went to my room and lay down on the bed. I'm feeling so tired.

Oops. I forgot about Richard. Is he searching for me?

I took out my phone and called him.

"Hey Anna, where are you?" Richard asked from the other side of the phone.

"I'm tired. I'm in my room. 606." I said.

"Okay. I'll come. Your luggage is with me." I cut the call.

I need a good amount of sleep. It's just 2 in the morning.
I hear a knock on my door. I open the door only to see Rylan standing in front of me.

"Where's Richard?" I ask.

"Charles took him to their room so he told me to give you this." He pointed at my luggage.

I nodded, took my luggage.

"Do you always care about Richard only? Give him some space." He said.

I'd rather not listen to him now. I closed the door.

"I'm in the next room. Call me if you need anything." He yelled right outside my door.

I'm literally not in the mood to argue with him. I'd rather have some sleep.

I set the alarm for 5 a.m. I heard we will start the day with morning exercise. Oh, my poor soul. That's not my cup of tea.

I woke up at 5. I need a shower.

By the time I finished showering, it was already 5:30.
I heard a knock on the door.

I opened the door only to see Rylan standing out.

I am still wearing my bathrobe. And he isn’t supposed to be here.

I can see his wicked smile.  "You look.... pretty. Fresh outta shower." He smiled.

Before I could say anything he talked again. " Get ready soon. We need to go somewhere. Be fast."

I didn't ask him furthermore. I wore a tank top and a sweatpant. Sure we were going to be exercising.

I got ready and opened the door, he was still standing here. I put my phone in my pocket and closed the door.

He held my hand and pulled me with him. Now we were running downstairs.

"Stop pulling me. I can walk." I said.

"We need to be fast. I need to show you something." He spoke.

Everyone else was still sleeping. We were walking up a hill which is just behind the building.

That's already too much exercise for my legs.

"Look." He spoke bringing me out of my trance.

"Wow." I was in awe.

It's too high up here and my legs already had their day but the view here is amazing.

Totally worth it.

The sun still didn't rise but the little light from it makes me able to see the scenic beauty.

I was looking at the sky and forgot that Rylan was even here. I haven’t felt this peace in so long. 

The sun is slowly making its way to the sky. From night to day. From dark to light.  This view has a different vibe. So peaceful. I look at it

The first rays of dawn painted the sky in hues of soft pink and orange. A gentle mist hung over the high hill, giving it an ethereal quality. The air was crisp and cool. It was carrying the sweet scent of morning dew.

As the sun began its ascent, a comfortable silence sweeps among us.

I turned to Rylan, he has been looking at me. His eyes hold some warmth in them. He smiled at me. His eyes shined.

"This is beautiful." I said, it was barely a whisper.

"You're staring." I told him.

"Staring at? I am admiring the view." He claimed.

"View? You mean me? You’ve been staring at me for so long." I winked.

Rylan chuckles.  His eyes are twinkling.

He leans towards me , his gaze lingers on my face like he is taking in my features.

"You're breathtaking." He compliments me.

"I... I was just joking."

"But I'm serious." He confirms his words.

I've been complimented before with words like - you look good, pretty, you look okay or Nice but no one complimented me like he did. His words are so soothing.

I turn my face instantly. Unable to breathe. Shivers ran down my spine. I couldn’t say anything else.

The way back to the building was silent. I had one of the best mornings today. I didn't thank him. I will. Later.

By the time we came back, everyone was awake.

Hustle bustle all over the building. They were doing their work.
They had already done their exercise. Thankfully!

Everyone's heading towards the canteen to have breakfast.

My stomach was growling. I need to eat too.
I head towards the food center. I took a plate and started filling it with food.

Everyone had their own groups with whom they were laughing, enjoying and eating. I wish I had a friend with whom I could enjoy things.

I bring out my phone from my pocket. 3 messages from Richard.

Richard: Wake up.
                Where are you? You're skipping?
                Text me when you're back.

Typical worried brother. I text him back saying I'm in the canteen. 

"Everyone was saying they saw you with Rylan" Richard side eyed me.
This is not so me who would roam around with Rylan.

"Because this is true." I bite on my waffle.

"Thankfully you got some senses. He isn’t a bad guy. Wait, tell me what's going on between you both?"

"Nothing's going on. We were awake and had nothing to do so we just roamed around." Was he expecting something else?

"I can sense some changes." He exclaimed.
