Mel moaned in anger when the rooster cackled by her apartment in Willow Complex B. She would strangle it if she could.
She rolled out of bed, greeting her terrible bed head in the mirror. She combed her fingers through it and felt power surging from her fingertips as she brushed it. In less than ten seconds, her hair was the most pristine in the land.
Mel pulled out her clothes, and remembered that this was a special day; the Fey Capitol would be holding it's conference today, and she was taking part by being in the Forest Fey Representatives. She eyed her dazzling purple-leaf dress that she had worn to the Fey Ball two years ago; it would probably still fit.
Fey don't really grow too much, and the tallest fairy in the land was about 15 inches (and he doesn't really count anyway, since he's half-troll). Mel had been 10 and three-quarter inches since she was 14.
After fixing up herself by getting the dress on, getting her face presentable, and gathering her things in her woven messenger bag, she rushed out of the door. The chimes were announcing 11'o'clock! She'd better hurry if she wanted to make it to Fey Town Hall by eleven thirty.
Mel flicked her wings, a habit she had grown into after once she had slept on them for too long, and she couldn't fly for a week. She saw them glimmer in the sunlight, and took off.
Even when not in Fey traffic, the strength taken to bat your wings faster than the speed of light AND know where you are going at the same time is pretty overwhelming. By the time Mel reached Fey Town Hall, she was panting and was taking fast breaths. Still, she fast-walked into the Hall, eyeing Fey she knew from gatherings and such.
"Hey Mel!" The enthusiastic water fairy, Crystal, called to her, "had no trouble getting here, I hope?"
"No trouble at all on this fine day, Crystal, but thanks for asking."
"Anytime!" Crystal took her seat by the Water Fey Representatives, beaming at Mel from it.
"I will never know," Mel thought, "how that girl is so flipping happy all the time!"
The High Fey Court took their places, and Mel rushed to her own by the other Forest Fey.
The High Fey Minister, or just plainly, the Minister, stood at the podium placed on the stage where his court sat.
"Fey of water, fire, light, and dark," he began, "the three-hundred thirty-sixth meeting of the Fey is now being held. We have important matters to discuss today, which I will hand over to Professor Iona Brihte of the Light Fey."
Whispers woven with applause was the result of this introduction. Not many professors speak for the Fey Capitol on matters such as these.
"As some of you might know, an issue has erupted in the Fey Capitol. A fairy by the name of Dew Falls has mysteriously vanished. Just recently, we have found the remains of her, by the Volcanoes."
Gasps escaped mouths from everyone, even the Fire Fey themselves.
"We believe that one of the Fire Fey murdered her."🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱🌹🌱
YUR WHALECUM.
I'll try to write more, but no promises and no schedule, unfortunately.
Please remember to press your finger up against that little star at the end.
It helps :3
