Still half asleep, y/n stretches, takes a deep breath in, and turns on their side.

Mmm... something smells like fresh soap.... wait

They open their eyes and see Itadori, still snoozing away.

He looks so peaceful when he's not stressing me out.

"Hey, Yuji."

Y/n shakes him slightly to gently wake him. He mumbles something and turns over practically laying on y/n, still sleeping.

Ugh, he's heavy!

"Hey! Yuji! I can't breathe

Y/n starts pushing him to try and roll him off of them. Half asleep he lifts his head a little and softly says

"Oh hello y/n."

While closing his eyes again.

Really??

"You're~~ SQUISHING ME!"

Realizing what he's doing, Itadori frantically rolls out of bed and falls hard onto the floor.

"Y/n! I'm sorry! Are you ok? I didn't mean to-"

With that y/n bursts into laughter. Itadori, still on the side of the bed looking at y/n confused.

"Haha! I'm sorry I needed that laugh! You almost killed me, are you always this clumsy?"

Itadori blushes a little.

"Yeah sorry I didn't mean to."

Itadori lets out what seems to be a nervous chuckle.

Y/n, collecting themself, begins to ask a question.

"Hey Itadori, about the sorcerer thing,"

Yuji stops his laughter and looks at y/n intently.

"Yes, what about it?"

"... do they pay you?"

"Oh... come to think of it, when we get some crazy jobs to exorcise a curse, we do get paid a good amount."

Y/n ponders for about 4 seconds.

"Ok, I'm in, let's do it."

"REALLY?"

"Yes, I have to make a living somehow, and you already offered so,"

Y/n stands up and faces towards Yuji.

"I am ready for you to teach me sensei!"

Yuji staring down at y/n shocked, they both stare at each other for a couple seconds, and then both let out a huge fit of laughter.

"Don't call me sensei again!"

"But you are my sensei now you have to teach me!"

Itadori still laughing and gathering his things.

"I'm going to talk to Gojo about this, and I'll call you to let you know what you need to do."

"Gojo, like the soap?"

"What?"

"Nothing."

Y/n starts to follow him out.

"Wait, don't you want breakfast... or tea... or something..."

Y/n says while Yuji was making his way to the door. While putting his shoes on, he makes eye contact with y/n and slows down a little. He walks towards y/n and plants a small kiss on their forehead.

"Why don't you get ready for the day, have a nice breakfast, and I'll come by later to discuss what needs to happen."

Why does he have to be the sweetest

"Ok"

Y/n smiles while he starts to walk out the door.

"Yuji, about last night."

Itadori stops and turns back to y/n.

"We'll talk about everything tonight."

With that, Itadori closes the door behind him. The clock ticks loudly in the background.

Well, I guess I should start getting ready for the day.
