I loved those days.. where nothing was too complicated and we could just be free. It was all different when tommy moved out.

I was broke out of my thought when I felt something bump into my shoulder. I open my eyes to find a tall figure to my side, staring down at me.

'I- .. Terribly sorry.' The figure spoke.

'No, its alright. Don't worry.'

There was an uncomfortable silence as we gazed at eachother. He looked so.. familiar. I awkwardly lifted my hand and tilted it, smiling, as to say goodbye.

'Bye!' The man said. I had already walked on as he had spoke. Seconds later I saw what seemed to be a small child running from the distance. 'WILBURRR' The child shouted with one arm stretched out as if he was reaching for something. I blinked and the child was already approaching me, at what seemed the speed of light. I stepped out the way as the now 17 year old looking person has sped past me. I couldn't even see what the person looked like. 'SORRY!' He shouted back, excusing himself a bit too late. I travelled up the footpath a bit more to find a huge apartment block towering over me. This must be it..

I pushed the double doors open, to find a small seating area below the stairs. I figured that would be a good place to wait for the person, sitting down. I checked my watch. '10:27' Were they really going to be late again?

'I mean come on, all you have to do is stop off and give me the ke-' I was closed my mouth as I heard the doors open and I fixed my posture, to make myself look a bit less.. grouchy. A tall man with a significantly shorter teenager, entered the building. He looked over to me with a smile, as to say 'Hello, again'. I fixed my vision on the teenager, raising an eyebrow and mouthed 'What are you doing here? He was holding a small ice cream cone, what seemed to be honeycomb. I looked at the ice cream, then up at him. 'Ew.' I gestured, with my mouth.

'Hey! Honeycombs nice..'

'Wiiiill I wanna go back to the apartment I'm tiiiired.. ' The teen said, dragging the i's in his sentence. He kept looking behind him, as if he were keeping an eye out for someone.

'See you later, yeah?'

'Maybe.' I said, glancing to what should be called vomit on a cone. He chuckled a bit before waving, as the teen dragged behind him. I was assuming it was his brother. 'Tommy, why do you have to ruin all my chances with girls?!' I heard from up the stairs.

'It wasn't my fault she didn't like honeycomb!'

I smiled at the childlike statement. I didn't bother mention that I knew tommy to the guy, I'm sure Tommy would introduce me to him soon enough. Two girls had walked in, straight after Tommy and his brother. Their faces were caked in fake tan, their hair bleached blonde in messy buns. Really messy buns. Chavs. They were pure chavs.

'AIGHT TOMMYINNIT?' One of them shouted up the stairs mockingly. 'So what's your problem then?' I asked one of them.

'What's your problem???' They mocked me, laughing.

'Shove off.' I said, extremely annoyed at the fact two rude 14 year old girls have just mocked me, even though I was significantly older than them.

The man I met earlier came down the stairs, clearly pissed off at the fact there was so much shouting, but tried to cover it up. The girls ignored him, still taunting me.

'What's this then?!' One of them said looking me up and down, clearly judging my outfit.

'Why does it matter?!' I said defensively. 'At least I'm not making fun of someone who does something they like doing?'

'Ah you serious?' Their accents were so strong. 'Imagine playing minecraft!' The other said. God, why couldn't they just mind their own business.

'Imagine being a chav. Clear off youse.' (English slang for 'you guys') They rolled their eyes and one of them took a piece of paper from the bin and threw it at me. I threw it at them back but before it could hit them, it bounced off the door and rolled to my feet. I looked down at it and clenched my fists. It was an awkward moment, as I knew this guy was watching.
