Another month later the two finally made it back to Mystic Falls after their long trip Haley was once again unpacking her things and she got another phone call from her sister who's been calling her every two week

Hayley: what the hell do you want (says answering her phone)

Nina: Hayley why are you denying it I have something important to tell you

Hayley: then say it

Nina: it's not safe over the phone we need to talk in person (says)

Hayley: fine you know what I'll go but if I find out you're playing me I will kill you

Nina: we both know that's not true (says and she hangs up)

Hayley sighs before throwing her phone against the wall and Jacob came in

Jacob: what's wrong with you (ask)

Hayley: it's my sister again

Jacob: maybe you should talk to her

Hayley: that's what I'm doing I have to leave to New Orleans for a while

Jacob: all right then you have to be safe okay

Hayley: I will so what are you going to be doing while I'm gone

Jacob: well for one I promised Caroline months ago that I would attend her graduation and we may not be talking but I did promise

Hayley: she's lucky to have a friend like you it's a shame she doesn't see it (says)

Jacob: to be honest it's been almost a long year I guess this year isn't our year

Hayley: well everything will work out I promise (says and he smiles)

Hours later Jacob made it to the graduation just in time to see the Gang being in pain by witches

Witch: remember us Caroline

Caroline:uhh

Jacob grab the stick and threw it at the witches chopping her head and the magic stop

Jacob: there are plenty more of these to go around who's next I can do this all day (says and Caroline smiled at him)

Meanwhile with them

Stefan: Jacob where have you been

Jacob: oh you know I'm just out doing business (says smirking)

Elena: if you're here that means you can help

Jacob: with what (ask)

Stefan: Damon's been bitten

Jacob: seriously can you guys just stop pissing off werewolves and you won't get bit

Matt: it's in the nature to piss someone off (says laughing)

Jacob: fine where is damon (says)

Elena:at home (says and he nods)

Caroline: Jacob can we-(but he was already gone)uhh

Bonnie: don't worry Caroline you'll get a chance to talk to him (says)

Caroline: I hope so (says looking in the direction Jacob left in)

At the Salvatore boarding house

Jacob: Damon (yells out)

Damon: what do you- Jacob where the hell have you been why do you keep disappearing on us you left for 2 months almost 3

Jacob: sorry there were just too much drama and I had to escape some of it

Damon:(nods) what are you doing here

Jacob: Elena and Stefan told me your problem and im here (says and hands him his blood)

Damon looked at it before drinking it whole

Damon:thanks

Jacob:no problem

Damon: so does this got to do with your Hayley and Caroline problem

Jacob: what do you mean

Damon: oh come on Jacob Hayley has been staying at your home you had a fight with Caroline that today and all of a sudden you and Hayley disappear which means you two been together this entire time, have you finally popped the question

Jacob: no but I did confess my feelings to her

Damon: seriously Jacob when are you going to ask her to be your girlfriend like with me and Elena we said it and next minute we're already in bed with each other

Jacob: to be fair me and Hayley met each other and three days later slept together so I think I won that right now (says and damon rolled his eyes)

Damon: glad to have you back

Jacob: glad to be back (says)

Damon: Jacob you know you're going to have to talk to Caroline one way or another ever since you left she's been broke down lashing out at people making Reckless decision you need to fix this she was just a concerned friend and to be honest she doesn't trust Hayley and either do I

Jacob: damon you need to understand that all of us make bad choices why are you guys holding this one out on Hayley, you guys did worser then her and you guys got forgiveness but Hayley cant, it's almost been a year Let It Go

Damon:(looks at him) FairPoint so where is your girl so I can apologize

Jacob: she is going to New Orleans

Damon: why is she going there doesn't she know that the Mikaelson family are there

Jacob: wait my family is there

Damon: well Rebekah is still in mystic falls just klaus and Elijah are there why

Jacob: that's weird because Hayley got a call from her sister telling her to go to New Orleans where she was she never mentioned anything about those two being there as well

Damon: well something is going on over there and I don't really care just as long as they are out of town especially klaus

Jacob:mm well I better go talk to Caroline and get this over with (says and heads out)

30 minutes later and Jacob made it to Caroline's house, he knocked on the door and her mom answered

Liz: hey Jacob

Jacob:hey liz (says) is Caroline here

Liz: she is come in (says and he walks in)

Jacob walked up to Caroline room to see her on her phone

Jacob: hey Caroline (says coming in)

Caroline:hey uh what's up (says putting her phone down)

Jacob: I think we need to finally talk

Caroline:sure (says)

He sits down next to her on her bed

Jacob: I wanted to say I'm sorry

Caroline: I also wanted to say I'm sorry too I had no right to say that if she makes you happy then so be it I have to learn to share it's just I'm not ready or prepared for this to happen because I'm scared that we will go our own way and never see each other again, and I'm not ready to let you go to someone else yet

Jacob: I understand baby steps but when Hayley gets back you're going to have to apologize to her she's trying to make up for the damage she did almost been a year now Caroline don't hold on to it

Caroline: of course where is she

Jacob: her sister called and she went to go see what she wanted but she'll be back she just don't know when (says and she nods)

Caroline: okay I miss you

Jacob:me to (says and hugs her)

The two stay like that until they went to sleep happy to be in each other's arms again like old times
