"How the hell did we not know that they had set up camp?" Paige hissed as she looked through the undergrowth. It hadn't even been an hour, and the moon still hung high in the air. The tents littered the beach, and there were torches lit up around the perimeter hoping to deter the dinosaurs from coming too close. Paige rolled her eyes, people were far too stupid sometimes, fire wasn't going to deter the herds if they wanted to come. A compy chirped by Paige's side, getting her to glare at the small scavenger.

"Oh shut up." Angel let a low growl roll from his throat, scaring the compsognathus away. Angel moved closer to Paige, allowing him to spy on the camp along with her. Talon hovered behind them, and Blue had gone back to gather some of the other dinosaurs to help them chase out the intruders.

"We are so stupid, we didn't see them leave the island. My mistake." Paige mumbled, she could feel Angel's hot breath on her shoulder. The hybrid moved closer to her, his skin pressing against her arm. A faint rattle came from Angel's spikes, the indoraptor's eyes flashing back to Paige for a few moments before returning his attention back to the camp below. A soft noise came from Angel as Paige ran a hand along the hybrid's neck, feeling the dinosaur's muscles flinch a bit at the touch.

"So here's the plan once everyone arrives. Angel will go around back and scare those from the back tents out, Talon and I will head straight at them hopefully we can get their attention. Blue and hopefully a stygi or two will take one of the sides, sound good?" Paige asked as a low hum escaped the indoraptor. Blue tore out of the brush behind them as two triceratops and a Stegosaurus followed after but no other dinosaurs came with.

"Okay.... New plan. Blue and Angel will sneak around back and scare people out of the tents. The four of us," Paige gestured towards the towering dinosaurs, "will sneak up... hopefully that works and scare them as well. If I had my bow that would make this a lot less haz-" A soft cry came from above as the young Pteranodon flew towards them, her bow in hand.

"Ace, you magnificen-" The Pteranodon tried to correct itself before landing but with the weapon in its claws it more or less all but face planted. "You magnificently dumb flying lizard. Thank you for bringing my bow... without arrows. Helpful, Ace. Helpful. But thank you for trying." Paige patted the dinosaur's head before taking the pretty much useless weapon from its claws.

Blue clicked her killing claws on the ground, her patience already semi thin, before her mate gave a soft call calming the female a bit. Talon lowered himself enough to allow Paige to climb onto his back and she fixed the bow on her shoulder before tightening her grip on her spear.

"You three, stay close." Paige hissed as Blue and Angel darted off into the darkness. The two raptors easily disappeared from sight, they didn't really need to be told what to do. Talon started his steps quiet, as the two triceratops mimicked him. The Stegosaurus however, just sort of sauntered forward not really caring to be subtle at all.

"For fuck's sake." Paige whispered as she pressed herself closer to Talon's neck, feeling the carnivore pick up speed. A shift of the darkness along the shoreline caught her attention. It was only a small flash of silver that snatched her attention as Angel's red eyes shimmered for a moment as he passed the barricade. The stego stopped outside the barricade staring over the makeshift fence and torchlights. A snort came from the herbivore before it continued forward pushing past the fence like it wasn't there and knocking over two lit beacons. The noise seemed to awaken the closest tents, faint lights glowed through the tent flaps.

"What was that?" A voice asked as Talon moved to the far right, getting out of view as a man came out of his tent gun drawn.

"What the hell! Get out of here you stupid animal!" The man shouts at the Stegosaurus who payed him almost no mind. The triceratops charged forward, heads down as they caught the man throwing him up and on their horns. Their pounding footsteps trampled the tents around them, waking up the rest of the camp. Talon smashed through the barrier, his teeth catching the closest hut ripping it free from the ground. Screams and shouts filled the sky and the scent of blood stained the wind. The cries of raptors rolled upwards, and people scrambled for weapons or safety of the boats. Paige lets the spear soar striking someone in the back, as she leapt from Talon and ripped the weapon free. Paige's raptor claw knife slammed into the arm of a man who stepped out his tent, the gun falling from his grasp. Tearing the weapon free she dove to the ground as Talon snatched the man up in his teeth.

People raced to the boats abandoning their camp as the three towering grass eaters roared chasing them into the water. Paige raised her hand to her mouth, ignored the coppery taste on her tongue and gave a whistle calling the herbivores back to her. Blue gave a faint clicking noise as she walked up to her human, blood coating her mouth and claws, streaking her skin red.

"Good, is everyone out?" Paige asked as she looked over at Blue, a small chirp leaving the dinosaur. "Where is Angel?" Paige questioned, getting the raptor to look around the area. There was no sign of the hybrid, prompting the two to start searching for the dark dinosaur. Slowly but surely they made their way through the destroyed tents to some that weren't touched. It seemed, however, that they were empty.

"Angel!" Paige called into the night hoping to hear the indoraptor answer. A rattle sounded in a far tent, as the hybrid's tail stuck out from the tent's flap. Paige raised her spear pointing it at the tent, getting Blue to give off a growl in response.

Slowly, the hybrid started backwards, his steps careful and soft but he didn't bother to glance back at his human as he continued to stare forwards. Paige gave the dinosaur a confused look as his upper half finally emerged from the tent. Angel's focus was on a hand almost level with his nose, it wasn't touching him just hovering above his snout. A huff escaped the raptor as the caramel haired woman stepped forward as the dinosaur moved backwards. She was smiling, her dark brown eyes flickering over to Paige, getting her to freeze. The woman's eyes flicked across Paige for a few moments before she lowered her hand from Angel's snout. Her dark green pants had dirt and mud stains on them and her red flannel shirt had tears along the fabric. The white shirt underneath had traces of dirt on it as well, and she fully focused her attention on the other human. A low growl came from Blue as the Velociraptor took a careful step backwards.

"Who are you?" Paige asked, pointing the spear at the woman. She looked so familiar but she couldn't put a name to the face, she looked just lik-

"Paige?" The woman questioned. Paige hesitated for a moment not knowing what to do.

"Wh-"

"It's me... It's Maisie." Maisie smiled and Paige stopped her mind processing that statement for a moment before yanking the bandana down from its spot. The spear fell from her hands, falling to the sandy ground below. Paige didn't care as she tore across the space leaping up into her sister's arms, feeling the older woman embrace her back. A happy chirp escaped Angel, getting the herbivorous to gather closer, answering their leader's cries. Blue however continued backwards a low growl on the raptors tongue.
