Chapter 1- Afternoon Text

Beep. Beep. Beep.

I heard my phone making so much commotion. So I sat up, and looked at the screen. Well at least tried to because the phone screen was so bright. It was my crazy best friends!

Text from Alexis(12:01PM):
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICOLETTE!

Text to Alexis from me(12:02): Thank you! :)

Oh my! I totally forgot today was my 21st birthday! Then another message popped across the screen.

Text from Sarah(12:23PM):
Happy birthday girl! Are you ready for all the partying tonight?

Text to Sarah from me(12:24PM):
Thank you! And yes so excited for tonight!

I put my phone on the nightstand beside my bed and got up to go see what kind of clothes I could wear tonight in my closet. I could go with a blue two strap dress that was sorta tight fitting that had lace on the back with my black high heels or I could go with a more casual approach with just a nice flowing blue top with black skinny jeans and my light blue vans.
Decisions.. Decisions.

We will be there around 5 to pick you up.

I walked into my bathroom, turned on the hot water, got undress, and got in letting the water cascade over my body. Oh my.. Did it feel wonderful. By the time I got out it was 3:30.

I took out my blow dryer to dry my hair. I reached down after drying my hair, took out my hair straightener, and straightened my hair till it was almost perfectly straightened. Put on natural looking makeup with a light color of pink lipstick. Cleaned up everything and went out to lay my clothes out on my bed.

I hope something amazing will happen tonight.
