Ella's  POV:

"Are you sure we still can't change their minds?"I asked Harry who was staring out the window, deep in thought.

We were very close to our destination at the palace and this was my last futile attempt to turn the whole thing around.

"I'm sorry Ella, maybe Cole would be different from his sister."he said  thoughtfully."And if he isn't just tell me, I'll do everything in my power to get you out of that marriage."he promised me with an assuring smile.

I forced a smile on my face, I knew just by the look on his face that he meant every word he had just said.

"We're here!"my mother exclaimed, her eyes beaming with excitement.

Was this really happening ?

"I'm nervous."I whispered to Sasha next to me as we made our way inside the crowded mansion. My eyes scanning the unbelievable crowd.

Where did all these people come from?

"Relax. You're just getting engaged, it's not that big of a deal."

Not that big of a deal ?Just getting engaged?I made a mental note to repeat those exact words on her engagement day.

A middle aged lady made her way through the crowd towards us, she was dressed in a beautiful white elegant dress, her hair was in a neat up do and her make up was perfection.Even if I hadn't seen all the magazines with the queen I would have still known this woman was royalty by the way she carried about herself.

"Mrs. Swan!"the queen called greeting my mother with a small wave of her hands.

"Mrs. Davidson."my mother greeted her back with a warm smile of her own.

"I'm so happy that the kids agreed for this marriage.I'm looking forward to the uniting of our families ."Mrs. Davidson muttered happily.

"You must be our lovely bride Ella ."she added turning her attention to me.

I smiled."Yes I am, it's nice to meet you."I replied pleasantly.

"I must say dear ,you're even more beautiful than the photos your mother sent us, I'm sure Cole would agree with me when he sees you."

I couldn't hide the blush that made it's way to my cheeks...I doubted  that very much but still couldn't help but wish he did.

"Thank you Mrs. Davidson."

Her eyes widened.Should I have said your highness?

"Now that won't do darling, call me Caroline not Mrs. Davidson."

I smiled and nodded my head in understanding .Was it possible that the rest of the royal family was just as pleasant as the queen? If that was the case then I could get used to living with the Davidson's.

The sudden burst of giggles that erupted around us jostled me out of my thoughts ...what was all the commotion about ?

Mrs. Davidson studied my expression closely before she chuckled softly."I'm afraid you'll have to get accustomed to this reaction my dear, this is how all the young girls act when they see your husband to be."
