************chapter 6*************** CHAPTER 6: He pushes away from me abruptly as if being close to me causes him physical and emotional pain .
I can't help but feel hurt at his sudden change in attitude towards me.
"Well aren't you going to say some nice words to your future wife."his mother cuts in , most likely sensing the tension between us.
Cole sweeps his gaze up and down me as he takes in my attire.His gaze is hot as he continues to study me from head to toe.I suddenly feel naked beneath his stare ,fighting the urge to run and cover myself up.
Something seems to snap in his head as a furious expression suddenly crosses his handsome face.
"Excuse me."He says to his mother as he stalks off in the direction of the crowd.
My heart drops at his actions.
Am I that hideous to look at?
Could it be that he was disappointed in my looks , is that why he was so angry towards me?
"Please excuse my son Ella."His mother apologises on his behalf."Ever since he was a young boy it always took him time to warm up to anyone.But I can assure you that when he does warm up to you which I'm positive will happen very soon since I can tell you're very lovable , he wouldn't leave your side for even a second."she promises resting her hands on mine softly.
I force a smile on my face ,I wish that were true, the last thing I ever wanted was to be married to someone who disliked me.
