Just like that, I was out of there, as even if I was the furthest person away from the door, I made sure to put my things up as fast as I could, due to the fact that I knew that you would get in a lot of trouble if you left your work place any sort of messy. Luckily it would not get you killed, but if you repeated that type of behavior, than it very well might get you killed in the end, which I had learned at this point, and so had every one else, as every one knew that the government was not some thing to joke about, nor was it some thing that you should mess around with.
It was a lot of the reason that I was glad to get out of there, as I did not want to be around any one, for sure not Isabelle for on thing, but also I did not want to be around Noah, as I was not all too sure as to what it was that I should say, nor was I all too certain as to what it was that the both of us were even thinking about at this very moment in time either, as I shivered at even the thought of an of that.
It was a lot of the reason that I had got out there quick, as I felt like he was going to be quick to question me as to what it was that had gone on in that cafeteria. I knew that I was not a good liar either, and I did not want to try to lie to a man such as Noah, as even if he seemed to be a decent man, I still did know that he was a part of the bad shit, and that he had a role in the government him self none the less.
I had noticed him eyeing me down that entire time that I had been in the room with every one for the rest of the shift, and I was glad that I did not have to worry about any of that for any longer, as I got out in to the open, and I lifted my head up, and began to sniff the open air that was all around me at this very moment in time too, as thought it did not smell all too nice, it still did make me feel at least a slight bit better as to the fact that I was out of that place now.
I sighed just a bit to my self, as I then had a bit of a grin pop up on my face all of the sudden, at the exact same time as well, as I then began to remember as to what it was that I had been planning on doing today, after I got off work. I did not normally like to go out and shop for food, and other supplies, but if I was going to be honest with my self, it felt a whole lot better than being in that work place right now, with all that had just gone on through out the day.
I looked all around me for just a few moments, just to make sure that it was safe to cross the road, as I knew that the market place was less than a block away from the job site that I was working at right now as I was happy to be heading that way. I knew that it was not normal for me to go shopping, and I usually did not live to do such a thing never the less, but I was actually happy this time to be choosing the food that we were going to eat for the next few days my self this time.
My wife was normally the one that did all of the handling of that, but now that she was a bit more deep in to her labor, I had told her not to go out side and do any thing that might put any sort of strain on her. I could tell that she was not too happy with my decision that I had made for her, but she did not argue with it, even though I knew that she had a bit of a rebellious spirit in her at the exact same time too, which some times often scared me often times.
I did not want us to get in trouble with any of the authorities that were all over the place right at this very moment in time, with all that was going on in this nation right now, as I was glad that she just stayed in side, and read books, or did some thing else that might be helpful to the home that we had lived in for a very long time now. I sighed to my self all at the exact same time too, as I knew that it was just best to not worry all too much on any of that right now, as I then began to look all around me once again, just to make sure that it was safe to cross the street.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I then all of the sudden spotted some thing that stood out quite a bit, which of course was not normal at all, but we all know that people are not normal. Yes... That is what it was, it was people, and they were staring right at me, as I would be freaked out in any other situation than this one, as I would think that some one was following me, but in this situation how ever, I was not all too freaked out, as I saw just who the people were that were staring me down.
I saw at the edge of the building, on one side, there was Noah, as he had him self leaned up against the wall, as it seemed like he was eating some thing, as he was staring me down at the exact same time too as well, as I could tell that he was not all too happy with the fact that he did not get to speak to me about what it was that he had told me about not all too long ago, as I was starting to think more and more now, that Sabin was just bluffing, to try to get us on his side.
I did my best to try to pretend that I had not noticed that Noah was speaking to me, due to the fact that I did not want him to come over to me, and to talk to me about what it was that I might have over heard whilst I had been in the feeding room with every one else. I felt like it would be better if I just ignored him, and pretended that there was nothing all too important as to what it was that I had to tell him about what I had been told in that room.
Once again, I knew that I was an awful liar, and I did not want to test any of that out at all, as I then sighed to my self at the exact same time too, as I was about to dip my head a bit low to the ground at the exact same time as well, until I all of the sudden noticed that there was another person that was staring at me right now, as I could see that they had their eyes squinted on me at this very moment in time.
Of course, that was Sabin, as I could tell that he might either view me as a little bit suspicious, or he might be a little bit worried that I had told the wrong person about the plans that he had, which I was still not all too certain if he was being serious or not, as he was in fact quite a strange dude. I breathed in just a little bit to my self, as I did my best to stay strong through all that was going on right now, as I then stared right back at Sabin, as I too squinted my eyes right back over to him, letting him know that I was not falling for his little trap that he might have set up for me at the same time too.
No matter what, I still felt like I had a bit of the upper hand, and knowing that at the exact same time too, I felt like now was the perfect time to prove that I was in fact strong, as I grinned just a little bit for some odd reason or another, which I could tell confused Sabin a little bit, as I then squinted my eyes right back at him, not letting him budge me, or crack any sort of thing in my self at the exact same time too.
As I stared him down for a little while longer, I then saw all of the sudden, that he had dipped his head a bit low to the ground, as it was clear that he could not hang with me, which made me feel a little bit better about my skills of trying to test people, as I felt like I had not been the best at that either, along with the fact that I was a terrible liar as well, which was why I did not like to lie to people all that much, nor did I like to talk to that many people either.
I blinked my eyes a few times, and I then let out a bit of a heavy sigh all of the sudden, at the exact same time as well, as I then began to get my focus back in on what it was that I was doing at this very moment in time as well. I got my eyes down the other side of the road that was in front of me, as I spotted the market place that I was going to head over to, so that I could get some food, and some other supplies for me and my wife none the less.
I nodded to my self all at once, as I then began to walk down the road, seeing that I had a perfectly clear path, and there really was not all too many people going down the road at this very moment in time, luckily enough for my self, though I suppose that it made sense how ever, as I knew that every one in the city was too broke to try to hire a cab to take them places, much like it had not been quite a bit of some time ago, as I was starting to realize that I had been 15 when it had happened, which was nearly 13 years ago at this point.
I blinked my eyes, as I could say for a fact, that time seemed to fly by quite a bit fast, a lot of the time, as I dipped my head a bit low to the ground at the exact same time too. As much as I did not like the leadership that led our lands, I was not going to lie, I did live a bit of a happy life, and I was happy with my wife that I had as well, as I felt like more and more at this point, that what Sabin was trying to get me to do, was a very bad idea, as I felt a bit sick at the same time too, as I was not sure if I should snitch on him to Noah just yet.
I was about to keep on heading down the side walk of the road that I had been on for just a few moments, until I then heard a familiar voice begin to speak to me from not all too far away, as I then once again let out quite a bit of a soft sigh, as I really felt like I did not want to talk to any one right now, as I just wanted to get to the market place, so that I could get some food, and some other supplies that I could take back home, and spend some quality time with my wife, before I then went to another long day of work tomorrow, as it was none stop, as I knew that I never got to have a day of, even if I felt any kind of sick, as I had to go through it with a flu several times.
I shook my head, as I turned my head over to where the voice was coming from, as I then noticed that it was my friend Randy, which at least made me feel just a slight bit better, though I still felt like I really did not want to talk to any one at all at this very moment in time how ever, as I looked at him for just a few seconds, and I then squinted my eyes at him at the exact same time as well, still a little bit annoyed with the fact that I was interrupted in doing what it was that I was trying to do once again.
I breathed in just a little bit heavily, as I did my best to try not to get too upset by any of this, as I knew that Randy was a good guy, and he did not deserve my wraith that I wanted to pull on him at this very moment in time. I breathed in a little bit heavily, so that I was able to regain a little bit of my breath, as I then all of the sudden nodded to him as well, to let him know that I was in fact listening as to what it was that he had to say to me in the very first place any ways.
He blinked his eyes a few times, as it was clear that he could tell that some thing was up with me, though he was not all too certain as to what it was. Neither was I to be fair how ever, as I just felt a little bit upset at this very moment in time, for some odd reason or another, as I really just wanted to get back home, so that I could spend some good time this evening with my wife, Sandy, as I could see that it was already almost nearly time for the sun to dip down in the horizon at this point, as I got to work before the sun rose in the morning never the less.
After just a few more seconds, Randy did in fact nod back to me, which made me feel at least a little bit better at the exact same time too, as Randy tilted his head at me for a few seconds, as if he was trying to test me, though I did not let it bother me at all, as I was just about done with it at this point. After a few more seconds how ever, Randy did begin to speak to me once again, as before he had simply just said my name to get my attention, but this time it was clear that he really did in fact want to speak to me now, as I blinked my eyes just a few times, and I then did in fact begin to listen as to what it was that he had to say to me in the very first place any ways.
"Are you going to that meeting with Sabin later tomorrow? I am not all too sure if I want to go... I mean, a part of me wants to see what it is that he has in store, but a part of me is a bit afraid, as I know what happened last time this happened to us..." He said, as I could hear a fair bit of fear in his voice, which I did not blame him for, as I knew that it was exactly what the government wanted to do to us, so that we did not rebel at all, which was what it was that Sabin was trying to do right at this very moment in time.
Knowing that as well, it only seemed to make me a little bit more upset, as I sighed a bit of a soft sigh to my self, as I did my best to try to control my anger, and channel it in a good direction. Though, if I was going to be honest with my self, there was not really a good direction for my anger to go, in this cruel and evil world that we lived in right now, as it made me feel quite a bit sick to even think on all of that never the less as well, as I dipped my head a bit low to the ground.
I could tell that it was starting to make Randy feel like it was more and more a bit of a bad idea, now that he saw a bit of my reaction to it. I was not even the one that had lost their wife do to the fact that she had joined a little bit of a rebellion not all too long ago, so I was not all too certain as to why he was coming to me for advice, as I felt like if I was in his shoes, and I had lost Sandy, it would not scare me away at all, as it would only make me feel even more angry.
Knowing that, and knowing that tons of good and innocent people had died, it started to upset me a fair bit, as I really was starting to think to my self, that I needed to, and that I should do some thing about all of the evil that was going on in the world right now never the less as well. I could only imagine losing my wife, and my child that had not even been born yet, due to all of that bull shit, as I then started to grip on to my hands quite a bit tightly, at even the thought of that.
I saw Randy move back a little bit, as I could tell he was a bit afraid as to the fact that it seemed like he might have upset me a bit, but luckily enough for him how ever, that was not the case at all. I felt like I needed to do some thing about the evil that was going on in this world, as even if I had it 'easy' so to say, it did not mean that a lot of people out there did not have it hard, and it did not mean that they did not have a chance to get them selves out of it at the exact same time too.
I sighed, as I breathed in quite a bit heavily all of the sudden, as I then looked up at Randy all of the sudden, and I then began to squint my eyes at him, as I could tell that he was a little bit afraid that he might have upset me a little bit, which I did not blame him for I suppose, as I knew that I was a fair bit bigger than the poor man, as I felt like if I was in his situation, I would be quite a bit afraid to. I did my best to try to not look too angry at him at all how ever, as I then all of the sudden nodded to him.
He looked at me for a few more moments, as he then tilted his head a little bit towards me, as I could tell that he was a bit lost as to the reason that I had just nodded to him, as I could tell that it was not quite a good response at all, as to what it was that he had just said to me in the first place any ways, which I did not blame him for either, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was going on with me right at this very moment in time.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I then began to remember as to what it was that he had just said to me in the very first place any ways, as I felt a little bit bad for the fact that I had simply only just nodded back to him as a little bit of a response as to what it was that he had said to me not all too long ago. I sighed just a little bit to my self, as I did my best to try to not dip my head low to the ground once again, as I did my best to stay strong.
It seemed like Randy thought that I might have been about to speak to him though, to my surprise, as he then all of the sudden nodded right back over to me, as I could tell that he was waiting for me to speak never the less. I felt a little bit bad for it, as that was not what I had intended on making it seem like I was trying to do at all, but I then began to breath in a little bit heavily, as I then realized that it was probably best if I did in fact begin to speak back to him, as I could tell that he was a bit worried about all that was going on, as he was not all too sure as to what it was that he should do.
I blinked my eyes just a few times, as I then looked at the man right in to his eyes, as I could see a fair bit of pain in his eyes, as it was clear that he was thinking about his wife, as I knew that he wanted revenge for what it was that those people had done to her, as they had done it out in public never the less, making it even more sickening to even think back on it, as I had been there that day to watch it all unfold, as I remember them chopping her in to little bits, and feeding it to all of her companions, shortly after which they killed them as well.
It made me want to vomit at even the thought of any of that, though I knew that it had in fact been a real thing, and I felt like there should be some thing that should in fact be done with all of the evil that was going on. That was of course, what it was that we had been talking about not all too long before now, right? I sighed just a little bit softly to my self, as I finally did in fact begin to speak back to my friend, after quite a bit of some time of silence, which I knew would make him feel a lot better about all of this too.
"Well... If you want my honest opinion on it, I think that it is a good idea, and I do think that some thing should be done to stop these people..." I said to him, as I saw his eyes light up quite a bit, as soon as I had said it to him, as I could tell that it made him happy as to the fact that I was in with all of this, at least sort of at the very least, as I knew that some thing needed to be done about all of this. I still was just not all too sure of Sabin was the right guy how ever, to do some thing. It was not the fact that I did not believe that he actually might have some stuff stored up some where, that could be used to fight back, it was more the fact that I was not sure if he was the best option to be a leader in some this that might be as important as some thing like this, as I knew that there was still a whole lot of people that thought of him as a loser, and a joke. That would make it dangerous for us, if he was told on, and we were a part of it, as I knew that we would get killed if they knew any thing about us. I sighed just a little bit to my self once again, as I then thought of what it was that I was going to say back to him at the end all of the sudden, as I spoke to him once again. "I just am not all too sure that Sabin is the best leader for one thing, nor am I too certain that Noah is actually in on this... Why would he give up such a good role like the one that he had? I don't know... I will go there, and if Noah is not there, than I am leaving right away... It is not some thing to be messed with at all... But any ways... I've got to go and see my wife, and get some food for her... I will see you Randy..."
I said to him, adding in that last part, so that I could cut him off before he tried to continue along with the bit of a conversation that we were having with one another. I knew that the first thing that I needed to be focused on more than any thing right now, was to make sure that Sandy was back home, and that she was okay right now, even if I knew that our neighbor was making sure that she was, I still felt a whole lot better if I was back home with her.
I nodded a little bit to my self all of the sudden, as I was just about to turn my head away from Randy, and over to the market place where I was trying to get over to at this very moment in time any ways. Just as I got my vision away from Randy how ever, I did see him nod to me, to let me know that he had heard as to what it was that I had just said to him in the very first place any ways, as it was clear that he was respecting as to what it was that I had just said, as he remembered that my wife was pregnant right now never the less.
I looked back at Randy, as I was not all too sure as to what it was that I should do now, at this point in time, as I stared at him. How, Randy was not staring back at me right now, as it was clear that he had his eyes on some thing that was altogether completely different than all of that. I was not all too certain as to what it was, as I looked all over the place as to where it was that he was looking.
I looked for a little while longer, but as I did, I then looked back over to Randy all of the sudden, only to notice that he was no longer there, as it seemed like he had gone out to disappear out in to the endless abyss of a world that we lived in. I blinked my eyes just a few times, as I then shook my head, just to shake off all of those thoughts all at once none the less, as I knew that my focus needed to be on getting food for me and my wife to have for the next few days.
I sighed, as I turned my head back over to where it was that I knew that the market place was at, as I saw that it seemed like a lot of people were heading over to that area right now too, as it was clear that a lot of other people had just got off of work, and they were going to, to get their last minute supplies, before the market place closed for the night. I realized that I needed to get over there at the exact same time too, as I did not want to wait in line for ever either, as I then began to jog over to the place, reaching in to my pocket to make sure that I had some money in there.
I felt a few pieces of some paper, as I then let out a sigh of relief all of the sudden, as I was glad that I had not forgot about that, as we really did not have any food at all at the house right now, and I did not want my wife to go hungry at a time such as this one. I blinked a few times, as I then nodded to my self, and I kept on going over to the market place that was not all too far away from me now.
