Noah looked at me for a few moments, as he had quite a blank look on his face right at this very moment in time, as if he had not heard a word that I had just said to him, or if he was trying to hide some thing from me right now. I was still quite a bit worried about all of this, if I was not going to lie, as I still felt like this could be a trap, and I did not want to be stuck in it at all right now, as I looked over to Randy, to see that he did not have a look of shock on his face at all, much unlike me.
It was as if this was all normal to him, and be had believed each, and every word that Sabin had said to him. Maybe I should have as well, as he had not lied about any of it at all, so far at the very least. I felt like I should not be all too surprised as to the fact that Randy had believed it, as I knew that he had been angry with all that the leaders had done to his wife not all too long ago, as it had seemed like had been waiting for some thing such as this, to get started.
Sabin was quite a smart guy, if I was not going to lie. If this was a trap, he was doing a damn good job at it, and he had screwed us over for sure. But if this was not a trap, he had done a damn good job at the fact that he had got this as far as he had so far, even though I really could not see past Noah right now, as he was a bigger dude, even bigger than me, as he was blocking the view to the in side of the house right now, which was where I was afraid that there were going to be guards.
I felt a bit sick still, as well as the fact that I could not help but to be afraid by all of this. Even if all of this had in fact been real as it was so far, I still felt like I could not help but to be afraid for the life of my wife, and my unborn baby, as I still was not all too sure if this was a good idea. Perhaps I would have for sure joined in on all of this, after my baby had been born, and after I had known that my wife was safe, but that was just not the case just yet, so I felt like I should not count my eggs until they had been cooked, as the old phrase liked to go.
I blinked a few times, as I did my best to try to shake off all of those thoughts at the exact same time too, as I then looked back at the road that was behind me right now, as it was silent, and it was empty, such as every thing was on this side of town. I would say it was a bit peaceful, but that did not feel like it was the case at all to me, as it felt like there was some thing that was hiding behind all of this, and that there was some thing scary here, which I just was not all too sure if the scary thing was good or bad just yet.
I shook off all of those thoughts all at the exact same time too, as I then heard a bit of some strange laughing from not all too far away from me, as it was behind me, and behind where it was that I was looking at right now, which of course happened to be the road, as I was tempted to run away, and act like none of this had happened at all, and act like I had not in fact come to this place, to see the plans of what it was that Sabin had in mind, which I still was a little bit worried about.
I turned my head over to where I had heard the laughing at, as it was some creepy laughing if I was not going to lie to my self either, as it brought shivers down my spine, as I looked past Noah, as it was clear that the noise had come from further in side of Sabin's place. I was still a bit worried about all of it, but I did my best to try to stay strong, if this was a trap, I knew that I did not want to look to be a coward, as all of the sudden, at the exact same time as well, the person that had laughed, showed their face.
It was Sabin of course, as there was not all too many other people that it could be at all, as this was his house never the less. I saw that Noah shivered a little bit him self too, though he moved out of the way, so that Sabin could go ahead and talk to me and Randy. I blinked my eyes a few times, as Sabin walked in front of the spot that Noah had been in, as he then nodded to both me and Randy, to let us know that he was about to speak to the both of us.
I looked over to Randy, still not all too sure if any of this was a good idea, as I saw that Randy how ever, did not have his eyes on me at all right, as it was clear that his eyes were on Sabin, as it seemed to be that he had a firm belief in him already, even though he still was yet to even discuss as to what it was that his plans were going to be in the very first place any ways, which felt like to me, was going to be the deciding fact in all of this, as to whether or not I might want to join.
I did think that some thing needed to be done about all of this, but if the plans were awful, than I was going to be ruled out of it right away, as I knew that it would go no where, and it would only make us lose our lives, as well as the fact that it would make other people lose their hopes in trying to make it out of this. I sighed, as I then did my best to try to shake off all of those thoughts, all at the exact same time as well, as I saw Randy nod, and I turned my head over to Sabin all of the sudden.
I looked at him for a few seconds, as I then let out a bit of a soft sigh to my self all at the exact same time too, as I then nodded to him, such as Randy had just done. I still was not all too certain about all of this, but I did in fact want to at least give it a chance at the very least, as I then began to finally hear Sabin start to speak, as it shook out all of those thoughts from my head, all at the exact same time as well, as I then began to listen as to what it was that he had to say to me and Randy, in the very first place any ways.
"Come in you 2... I am glad you came! I knew that you would listen... I have made supper for you and all of the others that are in side right now... You were the last to come of course..." He said to us, as I looked at him with a bit of a blank look in my eyes, and on my face, as I was not all too sure as to what it was that I should be doing, or if it was a good idea at all, for me to say any thing back to him at all right now.
I just stared at Sabin, and I squinted my eyes at him, as I was not all too sure as to what else it was that I should do right now, I was not all too sure if it still was a good idea for us to in fact come in, as I still was a bit worried as to the fact that it might be a trap. I gulped just a bit all at the same time too, as I then turned my head over to Randy, to see as to what it was that he was going to do about all of this right now, for some odd reason or another, even though I felt like it should be a decision that I should make for my self.
Randy once again, did not have his eyes on me at all right now, as it was clear that he had already made up his mind in all of this, as Randy then nodded to Sabin at the exact same time too, as he then walked up on the last step, ready to go in side of Sabin's home clearly, for some odd reason or another, even though I had already talked to him about this might be a trap on us, as he had listened to me, but it now seemed like all of the sudden, that all of those thoughts had been washed away from his head now.
Sabin opened the door to his house, as I then heard a bunch of voices start to speak from in side, as I then realized at the exact same time too, that he was not lying at all, as to the fact that he had said that there were other people in side, and he had not been lying as to the fact that we had been the last ones to get here, as I took Randy to my place before all of this, to make sure that Sandy was going to be alright, before then telling her that we were going to be gone for the night.
To my surprise, unlike how it was that she usually did when I told her stuff like that, she did not seem to fight back on any of it at all this time, as she just let us be, besides the fact that she had wanted a kiss from me, to make her feel a bit better. It then hit me all at once, at the exact same time too, as to the fact as to the reason that she even felt sick in the first place, as I knew that she was of course pregnant, and she soon was going to give birth to my first child.
Reminding me of that, I once again turned my head back over to the road, as I knew that this was a terrible idea, as to what it was that I was about to get my self in to. It would be okay for Sandy in any situation besides the one that we were in right now, as I knew that she needed me at a time like the one that she was in right now. It was not just the fact that she was worried about me losing my life, but it was also the fact that she knew that I needed to be at home for her right at this very moment in time, not leading a rebellion to fight the government, which I felt like was not going to work no matter what it was that the case might be.
I stared at the road for just a few more seconds, until I then suddenly heard the voice of some one, as they then began to speak to me. I knew that they were speaking to me of course, due to the fact that they had said my name, as I blinked my eyes just a few times, and I began to start to have heavy breathing as well, as I then all of the sudden, turned my head over to the person that was in fact talking to me right at this very moment in time.
I looked at the person for just a few seconds, as I then realized that the person was Noah, and I also saw that he had his eyes squinted at me at this very moment in time, as if I was the one that was being suspicious right now, and not him at all, as he already had every thing going right for him at this point, as he had been a small bit a part of the government as it was so far, so I was not all too sure as to the reason as to why he would want to end it.
I shook off all of those thoughts how ever, as though I saw Noah had his eyes squinted at me, I did in fact nod to him all of the sudden, to let him know that I was in fact listening as to what it was that he had to say no matter what it was that the case might be. It did not seem like he believed me at all, as he just kept his eyes squinted at me, and he continued to speak to me, as I let out a bit of a soft sigh all at once, and I then began to listen as to what it was that he had to say to me in the very first place any ways none the less.
"Are you in with us or not? Come on in and at least give it a chance at the very least Randolph..." He said to me, with a bit of a blank look on his face as soon as he had said it to me. I shivered just a bit at the exact same time too, as I still felt like all of this was an awful idea, and that I should just leave it be, and pretend like I had never been here at all, and act like I did not have a single part in what it was that they were trying to do, which of course I would not, if I just walked away right now.
But, for some reason, some thing was telling me no, and some thing was stopping me from doing as such a thing, as I then all of the sudden began to walk towards Noah and Sabin at the exact same time too, as I saw that Sabin now had a bit of a smile on his face now that he saw that I was coming in with them. Of course he would though, as he knew that it would be a lot harder with out me, as he knew that not only did a lot of people have good respect from me at the job site, but also all around the city never the less.
I sighed just a bit to my self, as I felt like all of this was real now, up to this point, as I felt like none of this could quite possibly be fake. None of it would make sense if it was fake, because if it was, than they were doing a damn good job at simply just trying to fool me and Randy. I had to give them a grade of A on all of this, if that was really all that was going on, though I felt like at this point, it just was not possible for that to be the case at all.
I shook off all of those thoughts all at the exact same time as well how ever, as I then walked in to the room, to see that Randy was not in the dark little hall way that I was in right Sabin and Noah right now. I was a bit lost by it, as well as the fact that I was quite a bit scared by it never the less, which I could not help at all, due to the fact that my nerves were quite a bit on edge at this very moment in time, and I felt like every thing was a bit over the top for me all at the exact same time right now, at this very moment in time too.
It was just me, Sabin, and Noah in the room, which confused me just a bit, as to where it was that Randy might have gone off too, as I felt like, if some thing bad might have happened to him, than I would have heard it for sure, and also the fact that I would see stuff every where. That was not the case at all how ever, as every thing seemed to be just normal, and just fine, beside the fact that the lighting in the room right now was quite a bit dark, which I did not like at all, if I was not going to lie to my self either, as I did my best to keep the in side of my house lit up.
I sighed to my self, as I shook off all of those thoughts from my head all at once how ever, as I got my focus on just what it was that was going on right now in the very first place any ways, as I then began to start to look all around the room, only to see that it was of course dark and empty. I let out a bit of a soft sigh, as I shook off all of those thoughts from my head all at the exact same time too, as I then suddenly began to hear Sabin start to speak to me all at once.
I turned my head over to him, as I still was quite a bit lost, if I was not going to lie to my self, as well as the fact that my nerves were a bit over the top still, as I then squinted my eyes at him all at the exact same time too, as I continued to stare at him with a blank look on my face, as I stared right in to the eyes of Sabin, as I then began to listen as to what it was that he had to say to me in the very first place any ways, as well.
"Every one else is in the other room, there are a lot of familiar places, so don't try to hide your self..." He said to me, as I was a bit surprised as to what it was that he had said to me in the very first place any ways, as I then just nodded to him, keeping a blank look on my face at the exact same time too, as it all then came back to me, all at once, as to just what it was that was going on right now in the first place any ways, as I then began to hear all of the voices once again, from the other room beside of me.
I stared at the door way for just a few seconds, as I then saw Noah begin to head in to that room all at the exact same time too, as I blinked my eyes just a few times, as I was still a little bit lost by all of it none the less, as well, as I still was not all too sure about all of it. That was, of course, until I then saw Sabin join him, as he was not all too far behind him, as the both of them then disappear in to the room where a lot of noise was coming from right at this very moment in time.
I was a bit lost, as I was a bit afraid none the less, due to the fact that I was just not all too sure as to what it was that I should do right now, as I let out a bit of a soft sigh, and I stared down at the ground, the dark ground never the less, as there was simply only 1 candle that lit up the room, as it was quite a bit hard for me to see any thing. Not like there was all too much to see, besides a big painting on the wall not all too far away, that really did not stand out all too much to me, as it looked just like the rest of the room, which was of course, it was bland.
Well... To be fair I suppose that the times that we were in, there was not all too much to be excited about, as all of the holidays had been taken away, and it was just work, non stop, every day of the week, and if you did not work, and did not have a job, you were practically done for, as it got very cold during the nights, I knew that for a fact, first hand, as it had always been cold, even before the leaders had come in, as one time I had to stay out side one night, and I would have died, if I had not found a safe ally way to hide in, and crawl up in so that no cold drafts could really fly through the room.
I shook my head, as I shook off all of those thoughts all at the exact same time too, as I knew that I had to get my focus on what it was that was going on right now, as I noticed that I was in a home that was not all too familiar to me as well, due to the fact that I had never been in here before, as there really was no reason to be out in this home, due to the fact that it was not my own. It was a lot bigger than my home for sure, but it was not nicer by any means, as it was a bit plain, and a bit boring if I was going to be completely honest with my self.
I sighed, as I knew that none of that mattered at all right now, as I could tell that the voices in the other room had all of the sudden gone dead silent, for some odd reason or another, which did scare me a bit if I was not going to lie to my self, as I still was a bit freaked out about the fact that this could be a trap, though with how things had gone so far, I felt like that was highly unlikely at this point, as to the fact that there was no one else around, besides the people that Sabin had got to join the rebellion so far, up to this point.
I would not even call it a rebellion just yet, due to the fact that I knew that nothing had happened. But I suppose, that was the whole purpose of the other room, which was of course, to make some thing happen. I breathed in quite a bit heavily, as I once again shook off all of those thoughts this time, as I then all of the sudden, saw a head poke out through the door way to the room where I had heard a bunch of sound coming from not all too long ago up to this point.
The person's face that seemed to pop up in front of me, to clearly get my attention, as it was clear that they were a little bit lost as to what it was that I was doing right now, which made sense of course, as I was not all too sure as to what it was that I was doing my self, if I was going to be for real with my self at the same time too. I blinked my eyes a few times, as I then all of the sudden looked up at Noah, who was the person that was in front of me right now, as I then began to hear him start to speak to me all of the sudden.
I tilted my head a bit, as I was a bit lost with just what it was that was going on at this very moment in time, which was not all too hard to tell from me, even though I was in fact good at hiding emotions, due to the fact that I had my head low to the ground up to this point, and I still had yet to join every one in the other room just yet. I stared at Noah for just a few more moments, as I then remembered that he was in fact speaking to me in the first place any ways, as I then nodded to him, to which I got a cold and steady nod back to him, as he continued to speak, and I did in fact listen as to what it was that he had to say to me at the exact same time as well.
"Are you going to join us in the other room?" He said to me at first, as I still was quite a bit afraid, with all that was going on right now, in the very first place any ways, as it all felt so cold, and none of it felt real at all. I still had a bit of a cold and hard feeling that as soon as I went in to that room, I was going to be taken down to the ground, and I was going to be killed, but I felt like I should not think that way at all. I knew Sabin had lost a lot to this new world order as well, and I knew that he was not a part of any of this. I also knew that I felt like I had seen some thing from Noah, when he had taken in for the old guy that had been a manager out our job site a few months ago, that I just could not quite tell as to what it was that it could be at all. It was all starting to make sense to me, and it was starting to become quite a bit more clear to me, as to what it was that was now going on in the very first place any ways, as I then all of the sudden, nodded right back over to Noah, to let him know that I was in on all of this. This was not a trap, and it was time to face the cold hard reality, that some thing needed to be done about our leader ship, and also the fact that I did not want my child to grow up in a world as sick as the one that we were in right now. I sighed, as I then began to hear Noah start to speak to me once again, after the fact that I had nodded to him, to let him know that I was in fact in on all of this. He had a bit of a smile on his face, which made shivers go down my spine, as I then did my best to try to shake out all of the freaked out thoughts that were going on in my head at this very moment in time in the very first place any ways, as I then did in fact continue to listen as to what it was that he was saying to me in the very first place any ways. "Alright... Come on then..."
I continued to stare at him with a bit of a blank look on my own face, as if I had not heard a word that he had just said to me at all, even though I had listened to each and every word that he had said to me. I felt a bit bad for it, as I saw him roll his eyes at me, as it did not seem like he was too bothered by it, though he did let out quite a bit of a loud and annoyed sigh, as he then began to walk in to the other room, though he did make sure that I was following him.
I began to walk in with him, still ready to sprint out if some thing was to go wrong at the exact same time as well, but I was fairly certain at this point, that every thing was going to end up being okay for me, as I let out quite a heavy sigh all at the exact same time too as I then walked in to the other room, where I saw a bunch of people sitting at a very large table, with a bunch of blank looks on their faces, as if they had no emotion, and did not care one bit about what it was that we were trying to do.
It made sense I suppose, as I did not have all that much emotion any more as well, due to the fact if how cold the world had become after all that had happened to it, not all too long ago, so I suppose that it was nothing for me to be all too worried about, as I then dipped my head a bit low to the ground at the exact same time as well, as I then saw that all of the faces that were in the room right now, many of them being some of my coworkers, all turned their heads over to me.
I then not like that kind of stress at all, if I was going to be completely honest with my self, as I could not help but to not look at any of them at all, as I just stared down at the ground. I had made up my mind at this point, like it or not, that I was a part of the rebellion. If we were to get caught, and some people were to snitch on us, I would for sure be one of the first ones that would get ratted on, even if I did not decide that I wanted to join, as that was due to the fact that I had simply been there.
The government would not listen to me at all, if I tried to talk to them about it, and even if I did try to, I was not all too sure as to what it was that I would say, as I had in fact decided to go in to this meeting, and to join every one that was in this room right now. There was no going back, like it or not, so I had to be in on all of this, and I had to help them as to the best of my abilities, though I was not all too sure as to what my abilities were, besides the fact that I got people to easily like me.
That was when it hit me all at once, as to what it was that I was here to do. It all was starting to make sense to me, as I knew that Randy would have the heart to fight back against all of this, and he would help lead us in to a battle, but me, that was not the case at all, as I was simply going to be the one that was going to try to get other people to join up with the rebellion. I let out quite a bit of a soft sigh, as I then shook my head, doing my best to try to shake off all of those thoughts from my head, at the exact same time too.
I then lifted my head up all at once, as I did my best to try to stay strong for every one. I had done a good job at trying to at least pretend to be strong as of late, as I knew that I had to be strong for my wife, at the time of her life that she was having to go through right at this very moment in time. I knew that I had to not just be strong for her, but I had to be strong for the baby as well, as I was fairly certain that the baby was going to have at least half of the traits that I had when I was a child.
Though, I was not that great of a child, and I was a bit of a rebellious child, which made me so afraid, as to the fact that I might want to join the rebellion, as I knew that a lot of it tempted me to go back to my childish tendencies, and I knew that it might not be the best idea to do any of that at all, as I stared at all of the people in the room, doing my best to try to get my focus off of all of those thoughts all at once, as well, as I knew that I had to stay strong, just like I had been thinking of before.
I cracked a bit of a smile on my face, not due to the fact that I had any sort of faith in any of this, but more due to the fact that I was quite a bit anxious right now, and I was not all too sure as to what it was that I should do. The smile seemed to be a lot different to every one else how ever, as I knew that every one in the room liked me, so as soon as I had smiled, it brought a bit of a smile on the faces of the rest of the people that were in here right now.
That made me feel a little bit better of course, as I knew that if I saw that every one around me had a good, and a positive attitude and a positive mind set on what it was that we were doing in the first place any ways, than it meant that I was going to have a good, and a positive attitude my self, as I kept up the smile, as this time it felt quite a bit more real. I just stared at every one for a few seconds longer, until they all of the sudden, turned their heads away from me.
It did not confuse me, nor did it surprise me, as to the fact that they had all done that, as I then realized that Sabin was beginning to speak up to me, and to every one else that was in the room right now. Mainly the fact that he was speaking to all of the people that were in here at this very moment in time, as when I turned my head over to him, I saw that he too had a smile on his face, perhaps sharing that from me, as he had his eyes on all of the people that were in the crowd.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I was still a little bit lost as to what was going on right now, for some odd reason or another, though I knew that it was fairly obvious, as to why a bunch of dudes were in a dark room, in the evening. This was it, this was the rebellion... It did not look all too exciting, if I was not going to lie, but I felt like we had room to improve, and also the fact that we actually did have a chance in all of this.
I kept my smile, as I stared at Sabin for a little while longer, as he then nodded to the crowd that was at the table right now, many of them eating the fine food that he had prepared for us, as I was not going to lie, it was a lot nicer than the food that even I could afford. I shook off all of those thoughts all at once how ever, as I knew that it was besides the point, and that it did not help me at all right at this very moment in time, either.
I kept my eyes on Sabin, as I saw his mouth moving, but I was not paying attention a single word that he was saying in the very first place any ways. I felt like a little bit of an idiot, as I knew that was the whole reason as to why I was here in the first place, as I felt like I needed to hear this through. I sighed just a bit to my self, as I nodded back to him, though I knew that he could not see me do such a thing, as I then began to listen as to what it was that he had to say to all of us at the exact same time as well, none the less.
"We've got Randy... Who has the heart, and the courage to lead us in to a battle..." He said to every one that was in the room right now, as I then turned my head over to Randy, who was on the other side of Sabin right now, as I saw Sabin grab his arm, and lift it up, to get some sort of emotion out of him, as I saw a bit of a sad smile on his face, due to the fact that I knew that he was thinking back on his wife right at this very moment in time. But he did his best to stay strong, as he lifted his other arm up, and began to cheer on the rest of the room right now, as all of the people that were in the room began to cheer back, as I then saw that there now seemed to be a bit of a glimmer of hope at the exact same time too, as I then began to cheer him on as well, as a smile popped up on my face once again, on the fact that it seemed like Randy has hope in all of this. That was what it seemed like he had been missing for quite some time too, which was of course, hope... I breathed in just a bit, as I then began to notice that the room all of the sudden quieted down a bit, as Randy put his arm down. I was a bit lost by it at first, until I then saw Sabin was staring right at me right now. I then began to realize as to what it was that was going on in the first place as well, as I then nodded to him at the exact same time too. I was right with what it was that my thinking had been, as it was clear that Sabin was a very smart guy. It seemed like he had been preparing for this for quite a bit of some time too, with out telling any one about it. Sabin began to lift my own arm up all at the exact same time too, as I did not stop him from doing such a thing, as I joined him with my other arm, as he then began to yell to the room once again. "And We've got Randolph, the one who gives hope, and brings in more people to this rebellion! Mark my words, we will win!"
