Y/N POV:

I'm currently packing a bag for New York for new year's. Gerard told me to pack one and be ready by 5. It's 4:55 pm and I'm already packed and ready to go. I put my stuff by the door and say goodbye to my parents and brothers. Gerard texted me that he was here so I got my stuff and put it in his car. I got in the front seat and gerard pulled out of the driveway. We started our way to New york.

" Want to listen to some music?"

" sure. Do you want to turn on the radio or do you have a cd?"

" We can go to the radio. It usually has better songs."

As he turns on the radio I look at him. God why is he so cute. He turned on the radio and caught me looking at him.

"What." He says giggling.

" Nothing, it's just that you're so cute."

We both chuckle and Gerard concentrates on the road, while 'So Cold' by Breaking Benjamin plays.

" so where do you want to eat?"

I look at him and think about it.

" ( your favorite restaurant)."

He looks at me and puts in the restaurant name into the gps. It was really close to where we were. He got off the freeway and headed to the restaurant. We got out of the car and headed inside. We sat down and ordered our drinks. I got ( choice of drink) and Gerard got cola. We look at the menu. It was our turn to order and i got ( favorite food) and Gerard got (something from the restaurant).

~ time skip to when you guys are done eating~

We hop back on the road to new york. We drove out and had a huge jam out session for like 20 minutes. After we were done with that we laughed it off. We left the radio going and all of a sudden we hear the intro to Thank You for the Venom playing. We were both so excited.

" hey do you want to text the guys that this song is playing on (radio station). There should be a group chat labeled 'my chemical bitches."

I nodded and reached for his phone. He told me his password. I went to the group chat and told them. I could feel their happiness through the phone.

" let me guess frank named the group chat."

" yeah. He wont let us change it tho."

I smile at his response.

~ time skip~

We arrived at the hotel and its a good thing there was 2 beds in our room because i don't really feel comfortable sharing a bed with anyone. We settled in our room and claimed our beds.

" ok i want to get you a little more."

I look up at him in confusion. He gave me the ' you heard what i said look' and i sat up from my lying down position.

" ok so what do you want to know?"

It started out as easy questions then it got a little more personal. Of course we switched up who asked next.

" why did you seem so scared on the first day?"

I sighed. I also put my head down.

" i dont really share this but in 6th grade on the last day of school this kid named Dahvie came up to me and pulled me to the janitors closet. He did things that no 6th grader should imagine. I had to leave school early because i was so traumatized. After i told my parents they immediately called the school. They had him expelled and everyone hated me. So my parents just home schooled me and my brother till they died. So i was so nervous i would find him again. But its a good thing i havent so far."

I looked up almost sobbing. Gerard was looking down at the ground.

" im so sorry you had to go though that. I promise you that i will protect you no matter what."

I gave him a smile and walked over and hugged him.

" thank you."

He looked at me and kissed me softly.

I looked at the clock and it read 10:45.

" what time do we have to leave to get there?"

" about 11 ish."

" well then do you think we should get ready?"

He nodded and we both got ready. 

After we both got ready we headed out to times square. We got in the car and Gerard pulled out a cd labeled 'Gerard and Mikey's favorite songs'. It started playing 1979 by the Smashing Pumpkins.

It took about 10 minutes to get there. We found a place to stand so we could see artists performing, right around the middle. We also had a really good shot of the Ball.

It was around 11:56. 4 more minutes till 2005. Me and gerard were very close together because....

ITS SO FUCKING COLD

I looked up at this big monitor that had the time. 11:58, so fucking close. As soon as the clock hit 11:59 everyone in the crowd got ready and looked up at the ball.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I looked up at gerard and he looked down at me. We moved in close together that are lips were barley touching. As soon as he moved his lips closer it felt like we were the only 2 people there. We stopped as soon as we heard Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. We jammed out a lot.

We had to leave a little early but it was still fun to see the new year's ball drop live in person. We got to the hotel room and fell asleep immediately even though it was 1:30 A.M.

A/N: this will probabley be the last chapter because I've lost motivation to write this
