Chapter twelve

Everyone else was having a blast.

Then there was me standing in a corner by myself while everyone was dancing, laughing, grinding and some even making out. Really people can you not keep your mouths off of each other while you're in public? I scrunched my nose up in disgust, swirling the amber liquid that was in my red party cub around before downing it.

Time for drink number three. As I was walking over to the table filled with alcohol some guy whose name I didn't know bumped into me, spilling his red drink all over my once white dress "Haaaah sorry dude" he slurred, obviously drunk out of his mind before walking off.

"Yep this couldn't get any worse" I muttered, looking down at the massive red stain that marked my dress, well guess I'm never wearing this again because there is no way that this stain was going to come out no matter how much bleach I used.

"Someone seems like they are having a fantastic time" I heard a familiar male voice say sarcastically from behind me.

"Thank god someone I know!" I said, sighing in relief as I turned to face Seth "some asshole spilt his drink all over my dress" I said while wiping my dress with a napkin, knowing that it wouldn't help at all.

"Think of it this way, it could be worse" Seth said with a grin "How could it possibly be any worse?" I asked, narrowing my eyes curiously "It could be puke" he said with a shrug "Aw that's gross" I said, scrunching up my nose in disgust "See now the red stain doesn't seem so bad does it?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows before chuckling "Oh shut up you" I said with an eye roll, smacking his arm playfully.

AN HOUR LATER-

"What's happening?" I asked Seth with furrowed brows as everyone started going outside and walking into the woods.

"This is the important part, we were just waiting for Alpha Jensen to get here" he said.

'Cause that totally answered my question' I thought to myself before Seth and I started to follow everyone outside.

After a few minutes of walking we reached a clearing where everyone was gathered around in a large circle. Cammie walked over, giving my arm a gentle squeeze to announce her arrival "Hey! Sorry for bailing earlier, are you excited for the match?" She asked me.

I raised my brow at her "What matched?" I frowned in confusion "oh right Seth didn't fill you in. Jeremy challenged Alpha Drew so they are going to fight until one of them submits to the other" she explained "and if one of them doesn't submit?" I asked her "then they fight until the death"

I was definitely not okay with that, Drew May not have fully accepted me yet but the thought of him dying made me cringe in horror. I turned my body around quickly as I heard a growl, watching the horrible scene unfold before me.

The first thing I saw was Drew's wolf taking a swipe at Jeremy, Jeremy yelped in pain before quickly recovering, going for Drew's neck.

I had lost track of what was happening, there was blood everywhere and everyone in the crowd was cheering and watching closely in anticipation.

The next thing I heard was a roar and a howl of agony.
