Since coming to live with Drew's pack Cammy had forced me to watch every single genre of movie for some strange reason, she had said that she wanted me to experience all of the genres so I could pick my favourite.

That girl really had a weird obsession.
But of course I had gotten hooked as well and admittedly I had watched a few romance movies, you know the usual cheesy shit girl meets boy they fall in love and whatever.

And even though I knew it was stupid I found myself becoming slightly jealous of all of these girls in the movies and I started to make a mental note of all the things the guys on the films did that Drew didn't.

Is this what guys were meant to do? I mean he never holds the door for me and where the hell are my flowers?

Right I'm getting carried away again.

Anyways my point is that the guys in the movies are just made up and real guys are nothing like that so don't get your hopes up.

"Oi Katie!" I heard Cammy yell as she yanked out one of my earphones "How loud do you need to have that shit, I've been calling you for like an hour!" She groaned, Classic Camille, I had learned over time that one of her favourite past times was over exaggerating.

"Katie you have to watch this movie it is life changing"

"Katie this cookie is orgasmic"

"Katie the boys peed all through the bathroom"

"This pack house is such a pig sty"

"I'm about to die"

She did it a lot and I had started to find it quite amusing over time, she was quite the drama queen.

"What the fuck is that?!" Cammy almost screamed, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"What?" I asked her, furrowing my brows in confusion.

"Well either that thing on your neck is what I think it is or you have a huge ass hickey, either way I want details! Did you guys do it? Was he good? Was he big? How long did it last? Did it hurt?" She asked, sitting down next to me on the sofa with an excited look etched onto her face, saying all of that in one breathe, I have to admit if I wasn't so horrified by all of her questions then I would have been impressed.

"Woah woah woah, slow down Cammy. No we didn't do it, we made out and he marked me" I explained with a casual shrug.

"Then what happened?" Cammy asked.

"Well Seth walked in and it was awkward so we pulled away from each other and now Drew's off doing his 'top secret alpha duties'" I said the last bit in a mimicking tone.

To be fair it was stupid, even though I was Drew's mate and he had marked and claimed me I was still not allowed to know any of the 'classified' pack business until I was officially Luna and we had mated which isn't going to be until I am ready for all of that responsibility.

----------------------------------------------

After my short chat with Cammy I decided to wander around the territory, I had been staying here for a while and until now I hadn't really had the chance to look around and meet everyone.

As I looked around I saw Jeremy sitting by himself underneath an old oak tree "Hey" I said quietly, not wanting to startle him.

He looked up at me and flashed me a small smile. "Mind if I join you?" I asked before sitting down next to him when he nodded his head, gesturing for me to take a seat.

After I few minutes of silence he turned to me with a cautious look as if he wanted to say something but he was having an internal debate about whether or not to say it.

"Spit it out" I said with a smile, looking over at him.

"Why were you a rogue, I mean what happened to your pack and your parents?" He asked me "I know it's an invasive question but I had to ask".

I nodded my head, understanding why he would want to know about my past "I honestly don't know why I was a rogue, I guess I just grew up like that so I thought of it as normal as for my parents they died, we were trespassing on some packs territory, my mother got caught and my father and I had to watch her get ripped apart, because of the mate bond he couldn't bare to live without her so he took his own life" I said quietly, I hadn't really spoken about that with anyone before so it felt good to get it off of my chest.

"My folks are still alive, it's sad though they have Cadence's room made up as though she's coming home someday but she disappeared about forty years ago so I doubt that she would still be alive" Jeremy said with a small shrug.

I heard a twig snap, quickly turning my head towards the direction, smiling when I saw Drew.

"Hey, I was wondering if we could talk?" He asked me, looking between both Jeremy and I to ask permission to talk to me privately "Yeah sure, we were just finishing off our conversation anyways, Seeya later" I said to Jeremy before standing up and walking off with Drew.

"So yesterday.." He trailed off when we were alone before taking both of my hands and looking down with a frown etched on his face.

"I'm sorry, I didn't ask for your permission and I just marked you, that's not okay and I shouldn't have done that and I'm really sorry Katie" he said.

I looked at him shocked before sliding one of my hands out from his, reaching up to gently lift his chin so that he was looking at me, our gazes connecting "you have nothing to be sorry about if I didn't want you to mark me I would have told you" I said to him. "So you're not mad?" He questioned me, the smirk that I had become so familiar with appearing on his face once again "No I'm not mad, stop smirking you dummy" I said, rolling my eyes in amusement at him.

It seemed as though everything was finally heading in the right direction but it turned out to be the calm before the storm.
