I lifted my head with a blurry vision. Why does this always happen to me? A fake laugh echoed in the darkness. Mrs. Nobody had her head down while crossing her arms behind her back. She was holding something.

'Oh, I have waited so long for this,' She said, smiling a wickedly wide smile. Her eyes widened as she pulled out a knife from behind her back. Running it along my chin, she continued.

'I always thought libertations of some sort were... trouble to this world. It's a hard place to live! I want to make it easier for people to do whatever they want.' Her smile softened, but she snapped out of it. I saw the blade glisten and I started panicking, seeing it was coming straight at me! She dropped it, though. Her eyes had a blank film over them, as if she'd been possessed.

'That's not fair! Knives are my thing,' A soft sly voice said from behind her. Mrs. Nobody's body dropped to the ground, and I goggled at her, blood seeping onto the floor. Persephone was still holding the position from which she threw the knife. Her lips were twitching, as if not sure whether to smile yet. Her mouth opened wide when she saw me, and when she smiled hugely, I saw her sharp teeth.

'Hah. We're here, saving your ass,' Ria said, twirling a gun between her fingers, then added with her face to mine, 'again.' She grinned then flicked her head towards the others. They dispersed, the people in the dark falling as they were shot or stabbed. I sighed in relief as Mira undid my bands. Mira suddenly snapped up, hands at her throat. Someone behind her was pointing a gun at her head.

'Don't. Move,' A male voice said, 'Or I shoot.' When he uncovered his hood, I immediately recognised him. I thought I killed him. I can't believe-

'Please, stop. I can't clear my head from all your worries,' He strained his voice, touching his temples. Mind reader. Deceiver. Traitor-with-no-dignity. Dumb, little-

'Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow. I know. I should be sorry, but honestly... I don't have anything to be sorry for,' He sighed, 'You need to apologize. Poisoning me would've been a better choice, Aurora! Not... I shouldn't say,' he smiled slyly, 'Actually, I might. Pushing me off a cliff.'

The others gasped and stared in disbelief. I was lost for words, looking at them with a hopeless expression. 'What did you expect from me anyway? I'm a killing machine, a-' I stopped short. Mira had her arms around me, tears streaming down her eyes. She hugged me fiercely, and I stumbled to my knees.

'You're not the one killing them! Your- Inner demon does it all!' She said, her voice muffled from my hair. I clenched her shoulders and pushed her aside. They all saw it on my face. I was going to do it. And this time... I'm going to make sure that I finish him.

He had enough courage to keep standing there, but nothing was going to stop me. I clutched onto a knife that Ria threw to me, and raised it high. Sasha suddenly stood in front of me. The air felt like it froze.

'P-please don't! You can change!' She said, her head buried into my ribs, 'Just because he's a b-bad man, doesn't mean he should..., 'she sobbed, 'die!'

It hit me like a boulder. Even if she saw the best in people, there wasn't a point. I picked her up, hugged her and dropped her.

'If I kill him, I won't kill anyone else... If I have to.' I promised her. She smiled shyly and I picked her up again. She was on my back now. I put a hand over her eyes. My knuckles were white from my grip on the knife handle. I swung it at him and he didn't even resist. He just fell silently, his face pale. Sasha looked at him, and ran over. She put two fingers on his eyelids and closed them.

'Rest in peace, mister'. She sighed. Mizuki rubbed her shoulders, and she fell and cried into his shirt. He blushed a little. Mira was standing up from the floor.

'Let's get out of here,' she said, looking around, 'before they come back.'

We set out, and apparently they brought a car instead of a ship.

'I'm driving, because you guys are irresponsible,' Ria declared, 'and young.' I sat in the very back, where a bunch of knives and sharp tools poked at me. Everyone's eyelids were drooping, and Ria nearly crashed into the side of the road. I laughed, because even though I was just kidnapped for the 100th time, I was with my family. I was happy.
