A week passed and I never saw Rafe since then, he never texted me or called. Bree spent her days with Topper, they've been screwing each other excessively since the party and I've been hanging out with Kiara, Pope and JJ a lot ever since we moved in the apartment and they've been sleeping over and we were drinking our asses off almost every night. There's a lot of progress in my relationship with them in just a week.

"I need you, Zoe" JJ said. He looked at me sternly. I stayed silent and looked at him like he was crazy. "Like, I need you so much" he added. I wasn't sure if he meant that like he needs help or need need me. I shook my head when I realized that I was thinking about something intimate with JJ but you can't blame me because I don't know what to think. "Stop zoning out and help me" he interrupted my thoughts. He was pacing back and fourth, panicking about something for the past hour.

"What do you need help for, JJ?" I gave him my full attention. I watched him walk around the coffee table. "Oh my God, sit down. You're so dramatic" I said then pointed to the couch. He sat down, his elbows on his knees and his fingers pressed on his temples.

"I need you to drive" he finally said after minutes of staying silent. "Borrow Kie's car. She'll let you use it because she doesn't trust me with her truck" he rambled. I stared at him, waiting for him to continue talking. "You just have to drive me to my dad's house. I need to get the keys for the phantom" he said.

"What is the phantom, JJ and why are you panicking so much?" I asked him. He stared at me with so much seriousness in his face which made me burst out laughing.

"What are you laughing at?" he asked. I shook my head then shifted in my seat. "Anyways, we're gonna help John B and Sarah escape tomorrow night and we're gonna get the keys from my dad for the boat so they can use that to run away" he rambled.

"Escape from what, JJ?" I slowly said, unable to keep up with the overload of information from JJ. "So the phantom is a boat?" I added.

"Yes, the phantom is a boat" he rolled his eyes then scooted towards me. "Okay so we haven't been hanging out with you and Bree a lot because John B and Sarah is caught up in something big, something crazy and we don't want to involve tourons in this because it's too risky. But now, we're lacking people to help. Pope, Kie and I cant do everything by ourselves" he said, he was whispering loudly and I don't know why.

"Okay, what are we missing?" I asked him then leaned towards him, my elbows resting on the arms of the couch.

"I don't want to go down the details too much because it's too much to take in so I'll give you a little summary but I wont drop any names" he cleared his throat before continuing with what he's saying. I nodded to tell him to go on.

"Someone killed someone and that someone framed John B to get away with their own crimes. So now, John B and Sarah will have to run away until his name gets cleared out" he explained but I cant process what he said because he was talking too fast. I looked at him, confused by what he said. He rolled his eyes then sighed loudly in frustration because I clearly don't understand anything he's saying. "John B is framed with a murder he didn't commit. You understand now?" he asked.

"What the fuck" I said, my eyes wide open and my mouth was hanging open in shock. "Is that why John B and Sarah has been MIA every time we hang out?" I asked then he nodded. "Okay I always wondered why they don't show up in our nightly drinking sessions here in our apartment and now I know why" I said. "Should I go and ask Bree for the keys now?" I asked him while fishing in my pocket to get my phone. He nodded.

"Okay so we have to go and get the keys from her because she's working and she cant leave because her dad will kill her if she does. She's at The Wreck" I said. JJ and I quickly grabbed our things then ran out the apartment, locking the door behind us.  We hurried to Kie to get her car keys then immediately started our mission.
