The sun shone through the tent. I could hear the birds chirping and John B and Kie laughing outside. JJ was tightly wrapped around me. I grabbed my phone and checked the time, 11:36 AM already? I sat up, my hair looked and felt like straw. Yuk.
I quietly zipped the tent down, trying to not wake JJ up.
"Mornin'!" I sat down next to Kie and wrapped my arm around her neck.
"Hey!" John B threw me a beer.
"Wheres Pope?" I asked looking around.
"Think Pope drank too much last night" Kiara chuckled, "where's J?".
"Still sleeping" I replied taking a sip of my beer.
"Sucks that we have to leave today" John B looked out at the water.
Kiara and I both agreed. Then I heard footsteps behind me.
"JJ!" I turned around and wrapped my arms around him. He kissed me on the lips lightly and hugged me tightly.
"So you and Kie get laid last night JB?" JJ joked as he sat down on a log.
"Wow" Kie pointed her middle finger at JJ.
"I wish," John B said and looked at Kiara. JJ and I burst out laughing.
Kiara then snatched my beer from my hands and threw it at John B. Kiara then joined JJ and me laughing.
"Say that again, I'm aiming lower," Kiara said and flicked his forehead.
"I was only joking!" John B raised his hands up in the air.
I crouched and sat down on JJ's lap. He slid his hands around my waist and whispered in my ears, "you sore?".
My eyes widened as he said this. I stayed quiet for a minute and turned to him. I caressed his lips and mouthed the word yes. That made him smile. I gave him a quick peck on the lips.
I heard groaning coming from behind. It was Pope. He looked horrible!
"Had too much apple juice?" JJ said and handed him water.
"Ah ah. You're too loud" his eyes squinted as he sat down next to Kiara. Kiara kindly rubbed his back. I always thought they would make a good couple but I never said anything to Kiara about it.
John B was scrolling through his phone and said, "Guys, we better get home soon... Hurricane Agatha is going to hit us".
"Agatha that bitch" JJ trailed off.
I was about to get up and pack but JJ stopped me, "Princess wait, here" he handed me his ring, the one I always played with on his hand when I was bored, "for my girl".
"JJ Maybank, I love you" happy tears dripped down my cheek.
"Y/n Maybank, I love you too" JJ wiped my tear away and I laughed at his joke.
Y/n Maybank... Sounds pretty good, but we're both still young and have a long way to go in life before we reach that stage.
We got packed and stuffed our bags in Twinkie. The car was full but we didn't care. We got comfortable and headed back home. Sucks to be leaving such a beautiful place. Like JJ said, Agatha that bitch. I'm just hoping this summer goes well, I already have the best boyfriend and the best friends anyone can ask for. But you never know what might happen...
