After escaping the chaotic scene, clutching onto Seojun, we finally reached my house. "Please tell me how you know them?" he pleaded, turning me to face him.
"Come inside, and I'll explain," I replied as he took my hand. We entered our home, and I quickly locked the door. Seojun navigated his way to my room, and I followed him upstairs. We both sat on my bed, lying back and exhaling deeply.
"So," he began, facing me while I stared at the ceiling.
"So, Lin Yi Yang—I knew him from my previous school, as well as Situ Feng. The three of them, along with another boy and my brother, were in a group. There was also another girl, but I can't say her name," I said, taking a shaky breath. Seojun noticed and squeezed my hand, offering reassurance.
"The girl died in a tragic accident. Situ Feng and I were racing, he in his car and I on my bike. He accidentally drove off a cliff, and I couldn't save her. I jumped into the water to rescue Situ Feng, and he survived, but she didn't," I explained, now facing Seojun. He listened intently.
"Lin Yi Yang and Situ Feng both had feelings for her, but Lin Yi Yang also liked me. Situ Feng didn't appreciate the fact that Lin Yi Yang was playing with my feelings just to distract himself from her. Lin Yi Yang didn't want Situ Feng to release the song, so I did it in memory of my brother and her. I think he still has mixed feelings about me, but he's with someone else now, so I'm not sure what to do," I confessed, taking another deep breath.
"So, how's everything with your mom and my favorite little sister, Junjun?" I asked, wiggling my eyebrows. Seojun whined, resting his head in the crook of my neck, embarrassed. I giggled at the thought of running my fingers through his hair.
"I don't want to talk about them right now. I haven't seen you in years!" he grumbled, still on top of me.
"Okay, okay. We can just rest until school tomorrow," I whispered, closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.
...
The next day:
Fluttering my eyes open, I attempted to get up, but Junjun was still here. He pushed me back down, making me flop back. "Junjun?" I whispered, brushing the hair away from his eyes and gently stroking the back of his hair to wake him up.
"Mhm?" he mumbled in his sleepy yet raspy morning voice. "We have to get ready for school," I whispered while continuing to stroke his hair.
"But I don't want to go," he grumbled, wrapping his arms around my waist.
