Chapter 4: True Beauty

If you were curious about my journey to school, Junjun drove me on the back of his motorcycle. We arrived a bit early, providing the perfect opportunity to catch up with some old friends. After giving Junjun a warm hug, I intended to release myself, but he held onto my waist, maintaining the embrace.

"Junjun, I'll still be with you. I won't go anywhere," I whispered, and he nodded, finally letting go. I offered him a small smile before stepping into the school and making my way to the main office.

"Well, if it isn't my favorite top-perfect student! Sunny!" The principal's booming voice startled everyone in the vicinity, including the surprised teachers. I greeted them with a smile, brushing off the attention.

"If that's what you say!" I joked, eliciting laughter from the room.

"Now, Sunny, if you don't mind, there are a few new students. Could you give them a tour with Suho?" The principal pointed behind me, and I gasped quietly as I saw Situ Feng, Fengfeng, Li Yang, and an unfamiliar girl. Li Yang smirked at me, his hand casually resting on Feng Feng's lap. I rolled my eyes at his childish antics.

"Of course, Sir Headmaster, I would be delighted to," I responded sarcastically. Grabbing Suho's hand, we exited the room with the others following us.

"What does Li Yang want?" I grumbled angrily, letting go of Suho's hand, leaving him confused.

"What do I ever want?" Li Yang replied innocently, and I groaned in annoyance. "Whatever. Situ Feng, the other girl, you two come with me. FengFeng, Li Yang, go with Suho. I don't care," I said, irritated, as the pairs split up to explore the school.

...

"Hello, everyone! It's great to be back, and as you may know, I'm Sunny," I addressed the class as Mr. Han introduced me. "Please take care of me." I smiled, bowing before settling into a seat at the back, next to Junjun.

The black-haired boy greeted me with a smile, his head resting on his hand in a seemingly sleep-like position, prompting a suppressed giggle from me. He gently rested a hand on my lap, and I shifted my attention to the front, ready to immerse myself in the lesson.
