"WOW, THE THREE of you are matching!" A girl's enthusiastic squeal cut through the air, drawing attention from the surrounding students. Sighing, I rolled my eyes as the whispers of rumors began to circulate. Jin, a friend, came up to us, offering reassurance, "Don't worry about them; they have nothing better to do," she scoffed, glaring at the curious crowd.
"I'm going to go get us a seat—" Han Seojun began, but he got cut off as the teacher started speaking, announcing the seating arrangements for the trip.
"Okay, class. Seating arrangements have been made." Groans filled the air as she began listing the groups of three.
...
"SUNNY, LI YANG, AND SITU FENG." My eyes widened at the unexpected grouping. "Han Seojun, Lee Su Ho, Lim Joo Kyung." My eyes widened again, shocked. This was turning into the worst trip ever. Situ Feng and Lin Yi Yang walked towards me, one of them smirking. I rolled my eyes as my two other friends walked into the bus with another girl.
"We- We should get on the bus," I suggested nervously. The two boys nodded, and we lined up, ready to find our seats on the bus.
Walking inside, I spotted Seojun and Lee Su Ho with Jo-jo already fast asleep on Seojun's shoulder. They turned to me, but I avoided their gaze. Li Yang found a seat next to them on the opposite side. Now, I found myself sandwiched between Situ Feng and Li Yang. Just great.
"Did you really switch our names on the seating plan?" I asked, annoyed. "Why don't you go sit next to your girlfriend?" I mumbled, stealing glances at Jun Jun and Su Ho, which Li Yang noticed.
"So you wouldn't be alone while your two boyfriends sit with another girl," Situ Feng stated, putting on his headphones.
"What- What do you mean? It's not like they had a choice, right?" I asked, worried, as the bus started moving. The two smirked at each other before focusing their attention on me. "They are not my boyfriends," I huffed.
"Do you really think they went with you in that classroom to help you escape from us?" Li Yang asked, and I nodded slowly. He pulled out his phone, displaying security footage. I felt a knot form in my stomach.
"Look. As soon as you got out of the cabinet, the teacher followed you out, but the two stayed behind for a few seconds as they used the key to open the teacher's drawer and change the names of the seating arrangements." Gasping, I watched the footage, realizing they indeed manipulated the plan.
"No- this can't- they wouldn't-" I managed to get out, clutching the necklace I wore. A glance at the other two boys, asleep and cuddling the girl, shattered my heart. "Oh," I whispered, looking down, not wanting to tear up..
