That's right I'm in shock right now. How in the world did this happen, i contemplate as i walk to my seat. I take my seat then pass Snr Kamsi her food and proceed to be lost in my thoughts.
Like seriously i didn't see this coming... i guess i am overreacting, he just probably thought this silly girl and her big stomach that rumbles quiet loudly and it probably made him laugh. Yes that must be it but he said 'see you around shorty". Calm down oh... he called me shorty.
I gasp loudly as i realize the mean nickname i was just given.
How Dare he?, I'm not short... I'm just in a phase. Yes a phase.
"Babe your lost in thought what's up?" Alya asks me, Senior Kamsi and Kaima turn to me, just realizing that I've been in lala land.
" Nothing, something weird just happened " i say shrugging.
" What happened?" Snr Kamsi asks.
"Snr Carson just spoke to me" I say and they stare at me surprised.
"Really?" Alya asks grinning
" How did this happen?" Kaima asks
I then proceed to narrate the moment to them.
" Wow he chuckled and Smirked? At the same time, damn girl your lucky" Snr Kamsi said smiling.
" He also gave her a nickname" Alya says wiggling her eyebrows...
" Urgh Kaima!" I exclaim and she smirks.
"Now you know how it feels" she says smiling wickedly.
"Forgive me great one" i say loudly joining my hands and bowing....
The three of them laugh at my drama.
" I'm glad i can entertain you girls" i say rolling my eyes.
" Don't think much about it " Alya says rubbing my back before returning to eat her food.
" Yeah don't let it bother you, even though his behaviour was quiet unusual he probably meant nothing " Snr Kamsi says with a soft smile playing on her face.
" Yea don't worry about it shorty" Kaima says and starts laughing loudly. My God this girl can never let anything go.
Grumbling while they laugh at my expense, i start shoving my food down my throat. My hunger was put on hold while i thought about Snr Carson but now that I've shoved him at the far corner my mind my hunger has returned in a hundred folds.

I'm so tired, i lay down on my bed face up, Alya and Kaima wanted to roam about the school for a bit but i was already tired so i left them both and came back to our room. It's almost six and i decide to freshen up nightprep starts in an hour.
Few minutes later I'm done with my bath, I'm applying my body lotion when Alya and Kaima enter.
" Hey you guys, go freshen up you know night prep starts in an hour" I put on my undies and head to my closet to pick out something comfy to wear.
"Forget that one jaare, we have gist for you " Kaima replies as she and Alya bounce roughly on Snr Kamsi's bed. One thing Kaima loves more than anything apart from us, her family, dance, fashion and music is Gist. The girl can do anything for gist.
" Amebo what have you people gone to dig up now?" I ask pulling on a simple black tee amd grabbing a pair of light brown sweatpants.
"Nothing much, so we were walking around the school's premises like we told you and we overheard someone going on about how Snr Kelvin in SS3A likes you " Alya replies a teasing smile coming easily on her face.
"What?, as in let me get this straight, Snr Kelvin that flirts with almost all the girls in this campus and is rumoured to have also slept with a lot of female population likes me?" I ask bewildered how in the hell?
" So we heard" Kaima says with a shrug.
" How in the world did this happen, i mean I've barely spoken two words to him!" I exclaimed.
" Relax girlfriend we aren't really sure... yet." Alya nags chuckling.
"Infact why I'm i beating myself up?, it's not ture,not possible at all " I announce and grab my pom pom ball applique rabit print pullover and pull it over my head.
" Abeg you people should hurry up let's go" I grab my laptop, a notebook and pen and my journal and also my phone and air pod. I place them in my laptop bag, then i put on my ankle socks and a pair of black converse. Grabbing a seperate fancy nylon bag i grab a few packets of cheeseballs, minimie chin chin, Munch it , granola bars and three cans of malt.
We love...eee to eat Junk.
"We are ready, hope you took enough snacks " Kaima asks grabbing the nylon from my hand and looking inside.
"Yeah you grabbed enough but you forgot candy" She reminds me and grabs three packets of gummy bears and gives us one each.
"Now let's go" Alya links our arms together and we walk out of our room locking the door behind us.
"I wonder who is going to be out prep prefect this new session" I state thoughtfully.
" To be honest i don't see the need for our class to have prep prefect afterall it's just one class ahead " Alya comments.
"I swear, i don't understand this school's setting sometimes." Kaima agrees nodding.

On entering the class it's so rowdy we can barely hear ourselves.
"This is why we need a prep prefect " I gesture to the mess we call a class.
"These people will just be falling my hand Everytime " Alya grumbles as we take our seats.
Snr Kamsi enters the class few seconds later and the noise immediately stops. Everyone scampering to avoid the wrath of the head girl. Let's just say Snr Kamsi is a sweetheart to us girls and a few others but she is really closed off to people she isn't close to. Infact you would completely dislike her if you didn't know her.
" Good Evening SS2A your prep prefect will be here soon so please i do not want any noise coming from this block" She sternly commands and everyone nods. Immediately Snr Kelvin enters our classroom, tall and proud he's head held high, he walks and stops infront of our class, placing both hands inside his pocket he scans the classroom with his eyes as if searching for someone and then he's eyes stop on me.
"Hello student's I'm Kelvin Amadi as most of you know and I'll be your prep prefect for the rest of the term" He announces staring directly at me a soft smile on his lips. I sink lower in my chair trying to avoid the eye contact. I don't like this one bit. Not one bit.
It's been a few minutes since Snr Kelvin's announcement and he's had a few of our class boys bring in a table and chair which he would be occupying every night during our night prep.
If one were to describe Snr Kelvin, it will be Charming and that's why he's like a girl magnet. When it comes to popularity and power in this school, after the Quadruplet brothers then there's Kelvin.
Kelvin is a handsome guy and it's no surprise why the female students love him. He's caramel skin makes it easy to spot him anywhere and then there's his height he stands proudly at 6'2ft, he has a geeat bosy stature and he's also athletic. So yeah i wonder why he's a chick magnet? Cue the eye roll.
I take out my phone and connect it to my air pod and place my phone inside my locker and my air pod in my ears. I also take out a few snacks and my laptop, i love to write on Wattpad and i have books I've got to complete so since there isn't any school work i decided to update my books.
With 'Jowo' by Davido playing in my ear i open my laptop and get to work, my fingers tapping the keys gently but swiftly.
I'm so lost in my writing that i don't notice Snr Kelvin standing behind me.
I look up a few hours later and my eyes collide with a pair of golden brown one's. What is Snr Carson doing here?
"Hi student's I'm going to be your co prep prefect" He announces and I'm dumbfounded.
You have got to be fucking kidding me.
He's glaring at someone behind me and i turn around to see Snr Kelvin also glaring right back at Snr Carson. Okay what's happening?
I and my best friends share the same look the same question running through our minds.
