You put on your black sweater and went to the library.
The twins were already there.
"You ready to go inside?", Edric asked.
You nodded and the three of you went to the door.
Edric pulled out a piece of paper.
"It says 'no tresspasing', but I'm allergic to the rules" he said.
"And dairy", Emira added, taking the paper.
"Okay...you just...exposed me", Edric said.
Emira placed the paper on the lock and it enlarged the key hole until it was big
enough for someone to walk through it.
Then, you all walked through the hole.
Once you were all inside, the hole went back to its normal size.
"look!", Edric exclaimed "it's the wailing star!".
You all looked out the window, the wailing star was passing by.
Hence the name, the wailing star was wailing.
"Huh, nothing happened", Edric said.
You looked at the shelves, realizing the books were glowing green.
You took one out titled 'birds of bonesburow', and opened it.
A bunch of birds flew out of the book.
When you closed the book, the birds disappeared.
"Woah, the wailing star magiced the books to life!" Edric said.
All three of you looked at each other and smilled.
You spent a while seeing the things that came out of the books and magazines.
The twins suddenly came up to you.
Edric was holding a book about a duckling.
"Look at what we found!", he said, opening up the book.
The duckling came out.
Edric drew big hairy legs on the ducklings' picture.
Then, the legs appeared on the duckling for real.
The twins chuckled.
"Your turn", Edric said, handing you the pencil.
You took a book about giraffes and drew big eyebrows on a picture of one.
The giraffe came out of the book.
You all burst out laughing, then you closed the book.
"Come on", Emira said.
The twins led you to a bookshelf labeled "romance".
"Hmm, I think I like...this one!" Edric said.
He pulled a book out and then put it back.
The shelf opened up like a door and revealed a secret hideout.
"Wow", you said.
"Cool secret hideout".
"We don't hang out in a library",
Edric said.
"Uh, teacher, I'm in love with a dictionary".
"I'm studying the dork arts", Emira added.
"This is Amity's secret hideout", she told you.
"Mittens has gotten too...full of herself", Edric said.
"She keeps tattling on us when we cut class".
"She needs to learn not to mess with people like that, so we're going to find her diary", Emira said.
"And then post the pages all around school for everyone to see", Edric said.
"Isn't that taking it a bit too far?", you asked.
"No, see, we're her family", Emira replied.
"It's tough love. She needs to learn to lighten up".
You sighed.
"Okay, but I'm not having a part in this", you told them.
"Okay",Emira said.
"See you around, cutie".
You noticed Amity was coming into the library.
You hid behind a shelf until she was out of sight.
When she was gone you left the library.
When you got home you took your sweater off and went to bed.
