I noticed that there's a lot of Edric x Hunter stories on this website. But there's not a lot of Edric x Reader stories. So I decided to write one! will try to get at least one chapter out per day.
You took your usual seat in between Edric and Emira.
The teacher was writing on the chalk board.
"Today will be about more advanced illusions" said the teacher.
You noticed Ed and Em weren't in their seats anymore.
You glanced under the table and they were there.
"You coming?" Edric asked.
"Yeah" you told him, casting the illusion of yourself and crawling under the table.
~~~~small time skip~~~~
"How does the teacher not know that we're not there and that there's illusions of us in our chairs but illusions is literally the thing he teaches?" You asked when you all got outside.
Emira and Edric both chuckled.
"So, what do you guys want to do?" You asked.
"Hmm" said Edric "goblin tipping?".
"Nah, we did that yesterday" Emira said.
"I heard that there's this place where there's all these old palisman, somewhere in the forest" you told the twins.
"Alright then, we'll go there" Edric said, Emira nodded in agreement.
You took the lead and started going in the direction of the place in the forest.
~~another small time skip~~
"Hey, how much further is it" Edric asked.
"Not very far" you responded.
About a second later, some large creature who looked like a vampire head with legs and wings swooped down and landed in front of you and you realized that this was non other than the bat queen.
"What are you doing here?" She questioned.
"We want to see the palisman".
"The palisman are not some kind of tourist attraction" the bat queen said.
"I was hoping to get one.." you said quickly.
"Very well".
Bat queen whistled and more palisman than you could count came out of the shadows.
She told you to state your deepest wish and then the a palisman would come to you.
You took a deep breath "I want to help all these palisman find a home and I want to become a better witch and make my mark on the boiling isles".
The bat queens face was as shocked as yours was as not just one, but two palisman came over to you, one was yellow and looked like a pangolin, something you'd read about in a book about the human realm, and another was a green and was a hummingbird, also something from the human realm.
They both transformed into wood and fit onto one staff, which was parted at the top, one little end for each palisman to sit on.
Everyone was speechless.
"That...that has never happened before..." said the bat queen.
"Do I have to put one back...?".
"No, it was just surprising" she replied.
"That was cool" Edric said.
"Yeah but we should probably go" you said, looking at your watch "school is about to end".
You said goodbye and thank you to the bat queen and headed back to school with the twins.
