Same day .... At evening,
Fatima's pov :
Baba and taya Abu has gone to pick him up from airport and Dadi ,mama ,tayi are eagerly waiting for all of them to arrive home.
After all he was coming home after ten years ...
I got up from the couch and went in to kitchen ,there amma was working , hustling around but I stopped her in her tracks and hugged her tightly "calm down amma and let me hug for a second " I said " what happened my bacha. Are you feeling well " she asked .
I honestly tell her all the things going around my head in a heart beat but now what should I tell her that i want to study instead of getting married . I'm so scared that anyone will listen and narrate everything to my mom . Even walls of this haveli have ears.i can't take any risk right now I will directly talk to baba after I collect my courage . Which is not gonna happen anytime soon ... That voice in my head always do this to me *sigh* Im trying ok I replied .
"Nothing I'm just tired I'll be okay after I stuff my face with the food you made " I said .
She softly chuckled and said " yeah yeah I know Mera bacha " actually I love food . My favorite is biryani but I also love Chinese and Italian cuisine. I always ask amma to make this dishes . And don't even start about chocolate brownies , ice cream ,kheer or anything sweet. I would kill and die for these, I was even about to murder sana for stealing my chocolates and eating the leftover kheer when she knew that was saved up for me. I chased her around the house until I smacked her head with the cushion . And then we both laughed
Annnnd our laughter died down when we heard taya Abu clearing his throat.
Ahhh those good days.
