Fatima pOV:

I look in to the mirror that girl in the mirror looks beautiful but I'm so broken inside. What he'll do to me after marriage , what he said the other day made me terrified of him already

Flashback :

"Ye-s I'll mar-rry yo-u ! " I answered him. He pinched my waist with one hand and with the other hand he held my hairs in his tight grip.

"Only me ?? "He asked me through his gritted teeth seething with rage the look on his face was daring me to deny him.

"Only you " I replied while sobbing, his arm left my face and cupped my chin puckering my lips. He eyes my lips for a moment then looked up in my eyes.

"If you did anything stupid each and every person close to you will pay the price including you, I'll rip your limbs apart. Do you understand ?? " His deep baritone resonated in the room.

My eyes widened at his horrific thoughts.l just couldn't found my voice. When I didn't answered him he tightened his grip on my hairs almost ripping them from my scalp and yelled on my face.

"I said ,do you fucking understand ?"

"I- l-l do- do- do !! " I nodded frantically.

"Good girl" he said now massaging my scalp.

What is with him first he hurts me then try to sooth the pain .....

Monster.

He glared down at me with such intensity that I squirmed in his arms .I couldn't understand the expression on his face. I noticed how small I look Infront of him I couldn't even reach his chest properly. Then he left me standing there. I took a deep breath I didn't noticed that I was not breathing I sat down on my bed and drank some water to calm my nerves down and stop my hiccups. I wiped my face again and again but tears were not stopping. I walked in to bathroom to wash my face. I looked in to mirror my face was so red my eyes were also puffy but ignoring that I quickly washed my face and slowly walked towards study .

Flashed back ends.

I came out of thoughts when the door opened suddenly breaking the silence surrounding my room .mama and tayi ammi came into the room. Tayi ammi kissed my forehead and said I was looking beautiful but my eyes were on mama, Pleading her but she only looked at me with hate filled eyes. 

"Are you ready Fatima "

My heart thumped against my chest at her question. I don't know why I expect so much from her and hurt my own feelings. Sometimes I think that she is not my mother. Mothers are not like her. She doesn't even give any comfort to me like any mother give to her child. My Amma give me that peace in her embrace. Only her. If only she was my mother my life would've been better than this.

"Gee mama " I said quietly obeying her again like I did since I was born. She covered my face with veil  .My Api and cousins made me stand up carefully. They brought me downstairs I nervously step down from the last stairs. I know everyone was staring at me. But I can feel someones burning gaze on me which made my heart beat abnormally and obviously It's belong to him.

I didn't try to even look through my veil even.
Mama and tayi ammi are guiding me towards everyone. I sat down on the sofa then I looked up and thanked Allah that there is a partition in between I cannot stand his gaze on me.

As qazi shaab started the nikah. The nauseous feeling came back I was in cold sweats.

My tears dripped down my cheeks as I said qabool hai and accepted my doom. And now I belong to him, From one cage to another cage.

A hand came into my vision which only belong to my now husband. I put my trembling hand into his palm. His hand was rough against my soft skin. As he made me stand up I got so dizzy my eyes got blured due to tears the ringing in my ears got so loud that I couldn't focus on my surroundings, eventually I let the darkness drown me.

2 hours later :

I woke up feeling a lil bit better than before.I rubbed my forehead remembering what happened maybe few hours ago I don't know what time it is right now. Muffled voice were coming from somewhere near. I was clearly not in my room but his. I noticed that I was in comfortable clothes. I sat up carefully and my breath hitched at the sight Infront of me. His masculine back was facing me as stood at the window while talking with someone on his phone. He had also changed his clothes. It's my first time seeing him in casual clothes.

I gawked at him until my eyes shifted on my hand specifically on the branula attached to it.

" Am- ma " I cried for to come and remove this from my hand. My whole body was shaking at this point

"Amma please remove this " Amma didn't come to my rescue but he was at my side in a minute.

"Hey baby look at me it's alright sh here look at me  ! " He said trying to calm me down. Holding my hand in his own.

"No - no take this out please!" I sobbed I held his shirt tightly not wanting to be alone.

"I'll remove it but first calm down yeah sh sh come here my love hmm! " He gently wiped my tears , stroked my baby hairs back and was talking to me like he was talking to some child at this point.

In my panicked situation,I didn't noticed when He layed us down on the bed. He tucked my head into his sculpted chest his manly scent invaded  my senses. It was almost addictive, he placed few kisses on my forehead.
"Sleep !" He murmured softly.

"N-oo re-mo-ove it! " I whined again as I thurst my face upwards from his chest and looked at him.

"I said sleep now !  " He said sternly forcing my head in to his chest, stroking my hairs softy. I silently cried in his chest.

"Stop crying before I give you a reason to cry." His chest rumbled as he spoke.

he gently patted my back which was quiet opposite of his words, somehow made my eyes Droopy, suddenly I was feeling so exhausted that I want it to sleep it off.

He felt so content as she laid in his arms sleeping peacefully. He gently wiped the tears off her face. Admiring her soft features.

"So beautiful and so mine " he whispered in to the air while caressing her lips with his thumb.
