The party was still going on but she decided to leave.
Dumbest mistake she ever made.
The moment she stepped out of the room, someone grabbed her and shoved her into another room but she didn't struggle to get out of their grip.
The person sat her down in a chair. She didn't realize her eyes were shut tightly until someone tapped on her leg. She sucked in a breath as she took in the person infront of her, eyes wide in surprise and a hint of fear.
Dave
He was crouched down infront of her and his grip tightened on her left knee when she shifted a little.
"What's going on?" Her voice shook the slightest bit.
He looked scared.
"You need to stop running... just give up already, " He said with a hard look on his face, his voice quivering with an unfamiliar emotion.
She shoved his hand off her leg and stood up only to have him grab her shoulders and push her back down on the hard chair.
"What's gotten into you, Harry?" She shouted as she was finally able to get out of his grip and walk quickly towards the door. "I don't need any of you!"
She ran down the hallway in a rush and took the elevator to the lobby without paying any attention to the calls of a concerned Dave. All she could see when she closed her eyes was the haunted and dazed look on Dave.'s face.
When she got off the lift, she felt stares on her as she continued to cry, pushing the front doors open. A sob wracked through her body, making her shake.
When Dave got off the lift after her, he made it just in time to see a car knock her down. His screams echoed throughout the stunned streets.
"Elle!"
