The fight of swords

After temari's win along with shikamaru's it was now shin's match with a guy name moryou hikimo who was from the sand village. When their names got called, shin went down the stairs like a normal person while hikimo jump across the railing then landed on the ground with a smirk.

When they are down, hayate immediately begins the match before they run towards each other with their tanto in hand, trying to slash each other but keeps getting blocked.

Hikimo then jumped back making shin do the same as hikimo sheaths his tanto back into its cover as he runs back towards shin punching him in the face with a chakra infused punch before shin blocks all the hit going for him making his arms a bit sore

But the punch was nothing compared to his sensei training. So after shin got punched im the gut making him slid back, he then recover from it and started to run towards his opponent.

But as he was running towards hikimo he suddenly disappeared in thin air making everyone except y/n to look around the chuunin exam hall for him especially hikimo as he looks all around for him but soon found him on the ceiling of the hall upside down while crouching as shin makes some hand signs that none of the people in the hall know except for y/n as he just smirked at his student.

After shin has done making his hand signs he stands up from his crouch position then tilted his head upwards towards the people on the ground while he makes a tiger hand sign, putting his wind and water chakra nature into his fingertips making it an ice chakra nature. He then jump as his foot let go of the ceiling making him fall towards the ground.

Shin then thrusts his arms forward, his chakra nature on his fingertips ready as he falls towards hikimo making him jump back as shin comes crashing down to the ground as dust flew around the fighting ground.

While there were still dust covering where shin is, ice spikes suddenly shot out of the dust as it went to where hikimo is standing but before it could pierce him. He jumped back a little terrified.

Once the dust has cleared people's face soon turns into shock as they saw what shin did to the ground of the chuunin exam hall as it left a huge crater in the ground along with large ice spikes surrounding him while y/n smiles at his student proudly.

The people in the hall was so shocked at the large ice spikes that they didn't noticed that shin still has his fingertips on the ground as he sends his chakra nature to his opponent's feets making hikimo grunt as he now noticed that something caught his feets making the people in the hall snap out of their shock and turns towards where they heard the grunt is.

Hikimo:W-What... Is this...?

Shin:its ice.

Hikimo:I-Ice...?! How?!

Shin:well its simple really. My chakra natures are wind and water so i mixed it making it ice.

Shikamaru:so he mixed his chakra nature to make it into something else. And he use that ice to lock him in place like the nara clan's jutsu but except it only keeps the enemy in place and he can control whatever he wants with his justu huh....

Y/n:exactly like that but he can also transfer his chakra nature into the ground so the enemy wouldn't notice and gets trap since he made that jutsu himself.

Naruto:Eh?! You can make justus?! I thought only one person can...? *like haku...*

Sakura:naruto you idiot many people can make jutsu but some just don't know how.

Y/n:sakura chan is right naruto. Not many people can do it.

Sakura:*blushes*

Naruto:eh? Then how about you? Did you make some justus then?

Y/n:(hums) i did. (Smiles)

Naruto:Then can you teach me how to make super cool justu!

Y/n:(smiles gently and poke naruto's forehead) yuruse, naruto. mata kondo da. (Forgive me, naruto. maybe next time)

Naruto:aw mann... Fine but promise okay?!

Y/n:heh hai hai i promise.

Back to shin. He was now walking towards hikimo who was shaking slightly as he noticed that shin is slightly covered in frostbite (kinda like todoroki in mha when he uses his quirk but it slightly covers his body and not only his right side) due to the ice chakra he mixed in his body.

Shin was now nearing hikimo while he unsheathe his tanto that he placed back into its cover. Once shin is in front of hikimo he raised his tanto getting ready to stab his opponent in the back when hikimo surrender making shin's blade to stop as he lets go of hikimo from his ice.

Hikimo then fainted due to the cold of the ice. Shin was panting cold breaths as he was swaying back and forth, trying the best he could to stand but fails.

As he started to fall face first but then stopped since y/n caught him while putting his jounin vest on his student to keep him warm. Y/n then brings shin back to the balcony as he rest his student against the wall while naruto and the others who knew shin runs towards him.

Naruto:Shin! Oi shin! Daijōbu?!

Y/n:calm down naruto he's fine, he just needs to warm his body away from the cold.

Shikamaru:mendokusē...(what a drag)

Sakura:hopefully he'll recover soon...

Y/n:he will don't worry (pats sakura's head)

Sakura:(gets flustered)

Kakashi:how does he transfer his chakra towards his enemy? Is it like a kekkei genkai or something?

Y/n:it actually is. Its the hoshino's bloodline traits cause since many half of the people who are in the hoshino clan are born blind and they needed help to get through their life. They can control the people who they transfer they're chakra with.

Naruto:waaahh so cool...!

Kakashi:interesting... I heard about the hoshino clan but not their bloodline though...

Y/n:well now you know kakashi nii (smiles)

Kakashi:oh shut up

After that the board that has the names of the participants are now rolling someone's names. And it revealed to be inuzuka kiba vs uzumaki naruto. They both excitedly went down from the balcony where they faced each other after.
