Today, October 10th was a special day to naruto as it was his birthday. So y/n being the doting brother he is decided to invite his friends to his surprise birthday party that y/n was gonna put up.
When naruto woke up from his sleep he looked at the calendar and noticed that it was his birthday that makes him grin happily as he jumps up and down on his bed excitedly. Noticing what time it is naruto immediately ran towards his closet, changing into his daily outfit.
After he is done changing he went out of his room towards downstairs expecting his older brother to come out of the kitchen to say happy birthday but instead he was met with silence. He then decided to check his brother's room and there also no one in there. Now this makes naruto frown a little seeing that his brother wasn't here to say happy birthday to him first.
Naruto then shake the thoughts out of his head as he thought that y/n was just going out to buy ingredients for his birthday cake that he forgot. After that naruto got out of his and y/n's house as he skips along the road trying to find his friends to see if they remembered but however when he walks towards his friends they suddenly dash away from him as if they were hiding something making him frown even more.
But what he didn't know was that they were hiding party supplies from him to make sure he didn't see it as they bring them to naruto's brother who was getting the place ready on where they were celebrating. Leaving only the grown ups who naruto knew to distract him from thinking about the surprise or his birthday.
As naruto was walking he noticed his sensei leaning on a pole while reading his *cough*porn*cough* book. Kakashi then takes his eyes off his book when he noticed that naruto was walking towards him.
Naruto:Ohayō, kakashi sensei! (Waves)
Kakashi:ohayō to you too naruto.
Naruto:nē nē, Kakashi sensei do you know what is special about today is!?
Kakashi:hm? Let me think... Hmm... Come to think of it... I know!
Naruto:really what is it?!
Kakashi:its... THE DAY OF THE NEW VOLUME RELEASE OF ICHA ICHA PARADISE! LETS GO NARUTO! (drags naruto)
Naruto:E-EH?! O-OI WAIT A SEC! KAKASHI SENSEI! LET ME GO DATTEBAYO!

after all of that chaos, naruto was now walking towards ichiraku as he thought about that teuchi will remember his birthday. It was almost night time after he tells everyone he knows about what is special about today but everyone dodges the question and move on onto another.
As he was walking towards ichiraku ramen he decided to turn back around and go to a quiet place since he doesn't feel like telling anyone about what the special day is anymore but it was normal for him that his friends forget it but his brother?
Thinking about that makes him even more miserable than before since his brother never misses his birthday. Every single time when it was his birthday his brother always celebrate his birthdays with him making him happy than ever.
But this time, it makes his heart break when he now noticed that y/n didn't even say a single thing about his birthday. Naruto then spends his time out in the forest drawing in the dirt while y/n was searching for him.
After for awhile y/n finally found him under a tree near a river drawing on the ground with a stick.
Smiling sadly since he thought that naruto must've been sad since all of the people he knows keeps saying something weird or just ran away. He then walked up to naruto before calling out his name.
Y/n:naruto! What are you doing out here! Come on you're gonna get cold out here!
Naruto:(turns around) nīsan...?
Y/n:come on naruto lets go!

aruto then stands up and runs toward y/n before punches him in the stomach making y/n wince from the punch.
Naruto release his fist from y/n's stomach as he holds where he got punched to soothe the pain. Y/n then looked up from the ground then towards naruto after he noticed that there were tears spilling onto the ground as he looks up and noticed that naruto was crying.
Y/n:Naruto...?
Naruto:(sob) DID YOU FORGET MY BIRTHDAY THAT YOU HAD TO RUN AWAY FROM ME TOO. (hic) I WAITED FOR YOU! ALL I WANTED WAS JUST TO GET A HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM YOU! THAT IS ALL I ASKED FOR...! I-I don't need anyone else to celebrate my birthday with... I just want you and you only to celebrate with me...
y/n:......naruto... (Smiles) im sorry... I just wanted to surprise you...
Naruto:(sniffs) huh...?
Y/n then chuckled before he drags his brother with him to an unknown spot. Naruto looks around trying to figure out where they are. Naruto was about to question his brother when he was met with a "SURPRISE!" He jumps slightly as he noticed that everyone he knew was there even sandaime.
Naruto looks around seeing all the faces of his friends smiling at him while holding his birthday present as they say happy birthday to him. His eyes widen as tears fall out of his eyes. Naruto then turns to look towards y/n only to see him holding a birthday cake in front of him.
The guests then sing happy birthday to him along with his brother making his tears flowing down his face uncontrollably. After they had finish singing, naruto wiped his face to remove the tears before he blows all of the candles on his cake.
He then turns towards his older brother with a big genuine smile making y/n to smile gently towards him also as he pats his head making naruto more happy than ever.

After all of that they celebrate happily on naruto's birthday party.
