FIGHT TO THE LAST MAN (Goblin Slayer Genderbent X 40k)

The First Quest P. 3

3rd Person POV

Krieg and Goblin Slayer approach the cave.

Goblin slayer: *Hum*

Krieg: "What is it?"

Goblin Slayer: "There's no totem, that means there are no shamans here. Interesting."

The two enter the cave, Goblin Slayer pulled out a torch and lit it for light as they walk into the dark cave. As the two are walking down the cave they see a new passageway to their left that goes down. Down there they can hear what sounds like wet noises and laughter, not human laughter.

And in front of them, they hear some more feet walking toward them. Goblin Slayer was about to run at them but was stopped by Krieg, he grabbed her and entered the passageway to the left. Krieg put the torch out and keep the two close to the wall.

Some backstory of Krieg.
Goblin Slayer has experience when it comes to working in the dark, but that doesn't mean she has night vision. For Krieg, it's a different story. He's a lord commissar so he's had his fair share of injuries, one that involved a frag grenade blowing up in his face. It's a miracle it didn't just straight up kill him, though Krieg did suffer significant damage to his skull. His frontal lob, parietal lob, nasal, jaw, maxilla, and zygoma were completely shattered and his left eye exploded. Many pieces of his skull were lodged into his brain, and the only reason he survived was because of the advanced medical technology the tech-priest provides. Most of Krieg's skull has been replaced by metal and his left eye replaced by a new one, with many perks to it. One is night vision.

Two goblins walked passed them, Krieg let go of Goblin Slayer and the two snuck up to them. Goblin Slayer Stabbed one in the throat as Krieg took out his eight-inch combat knife and lodged it into the head of the goblin. Krieg's target died instantly while the Goblin Slayer target had a slow and painful death choking on its blood.

Goblin Slayer: "One."

Krieg: "Two."

The two went down the passageway and heard a girl scream.

Girl: "NO, NO, NO, NO, PLEASE! SOMEONE HELP ME!! NO, STAY AWAY! HELP!"

Krieg and Goblin Slayer peeked inside and could see the goblins swarming three girls. But due to little light, it was hard for Goblin Slayer to make out how many there were, but Krieg could see with no problem. 'fifth-teen goblins' What caught Krieg's attention was the big goblin, Krieg brushed it off and was about to go in but Goblin Slayer grabbed his arm, stopping him.

Goblin Slayer: "We're at a disadvantage, if we fight we'll more than likely lose. We have to draw their attention so we can hopefully save the girls."

Krieg looked at Goblin Slayer and pulled out his last pistol.

Krieg: "This'll take no more than a minute."

Girl2: "NO, DON'T DO THAT PLEASE! ANYTHING BUT THAT, NO!!

Krieg walked off, Goblin Slayer tried to stop him but due to no light, she couldn't see him so she waited. Krieg pulled out his combat knife and aimed his last pistol at the big goblins head. He shot its head and the beam went straight through his head, its body fell face first to the ground, crushing two goblins and trapping them. the other goblins turned to see Krieg.

They couldn't react in time as Krieg rushed at them with his combat knife, he shot two goblins before they could pick up their weapons. One rushed Krieg but he simply backhanded the goblin with his right hand and its head busted open. Five managed to get their weapons and rush at Krieg, Krieg shot three down and kicked one's knee, and stabbed its spine paralyzing it. The last one tried to run away but Krieg caught in with his left hand and gripped its entire head. He picked up the goblin and smashed its head against the wall, the sounds of the skull breaking and the blood spraying all over Krieg.
