Luckily, we only had to row our fleet of rafts for two hours before we reached the nearest island. That gave us enough time to properly reunite with our family and friends, especially our children. Then we asked them why they left the island when we ordered them not to. In fact, I thought it was the very one thing we ordered them not to do. Chel came to their rescue when she told them that after Tzekel-Kan knocked her on the back of her head, they found her and rescued her and her bag full of bottles of white stuff (which is the only thing she and Anna have been found and considered useful in this war since the day they were turned into mermaids). They even found Maui's hook.
"Where did you kids find it?" Maui asked.
"If you really must know," Kasper said, "we found it in a whale monster's butt."
"A whale monster's butt?" Miguel said.
"How did you fight it?" Moana asked.
"When we met him," Benito said, "he came to attack us. When we tried to dodge the attacks while it attacked us, we recognised Maui's special hook in the butt. And we all thought that it was important to get it out, even if we never saw Maui again. Kasper and I distracted him while Rika used her magic to create jungle vines to yank it out of the butt while being protected by Nicla and her magic weapon."
"I'm not sure if I would call it a weapon, Benito," Nicla said.
"All right," Benito said. "Does 'a banishing gem' sound better?"
"I'm good with that."
"Anyway, after the hook was successfully yanked out, Nicla used her banishing gem to send the monster away and then we found Chel and her bottles of white stuff and I'm sure you all know the rest."
"So, even if you're going to punish us for leaving the island when you forbid us to do so," Kasper said, "we're not sorry for doing what we did."
"Only because you saved us this time, we will not punish you," Kristoff said.
"But any more sneaking out on any account, you will be in big trouble," I said. "Understand?"
"Understood, Father," Benito said.
"Understand, sir," Kasper, Rika and Nicla said together.
The island was more than big enough for all of us squeeze on and there were plenty of fresh water, but there was no food. Well, no food growing on the big, tall tropical trees, but Rika's magical powers again came to rescue when she magically grew fruit and vegetables.
While everyone else was harvesting water and the food that Rika grew from her magic or building up the tents for everyone, I joined Miguel, Chel, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Moana, Maui, Raya, Sisu, Mattias, Ryder and Honeymaren for a meeting. We all first told Miguel what we had been through for the last three months. Then we asked what happened to him since he got taken away from us. Then he explained that he had spent most of the time being imprisoned in the Dungeon of the Executed Souls of the kingdom of Turolia. All because he tried to stop his family attacking a village. Everything in that realm looked beautiful and magical on the outside, but his family and their army of monsters that lived and served in it made an awful place.
"Before I forget, I must tell Elsa and Anna something," Miguel said. "While I was imprisoned in that awful dungeon, I met your parents."
They gasped.
"Well, I met their souls in there," he went on. "They miss you so much and I told them you're still alive and what you have achieved since they left Arendelle and they were killed by Tzekel-Kan to prove his worth to my family."
