Chapter 01

Reige

The moment that I arrived at the airport, the scent of the morning air of Spain welcomed me. It's quite nice to be here again.

I decided to text Raven and that jerk replied after a minute, informing me that Lola's chauffeur will pick me up. I can't help but to roll my eyes from the back of my head. I'm pretty sure that that jerk has been possessed by hundred spirits of laziness again. Akala ko pa naman ay siya ang susundo sa akin, ngunit mukhang hindi na naman lalabas sa lungga niya ang kumag na iyon. Damn that Raven.

I looked at my wrist watch, only to see that it's already 15 minutes before the clock strikes 10 in the morning. And not only that, I'm also hungry. I wanna have some potato omelet or something that I could eat, like pizza.

Minutes had passed, I began to feel bored and a bit impatient as I watch the people who were passing by in the airport. Dahil sa walang magawa ay tinatamad kong ipinusod ang buhok ko gamit ang pen na nasa bulsa ko.

Then suddenly, a man who seems to be in his early-20s approached me. His face was unfamiliar, though, I can say that he was given a perfect face by the gods. He also have a well-built body, and he look decent in his all black formal uniform.

"Miss Reige?" he called me by his baritone voice.

"Hmn? Who are you?" ngunit bago pa siya sumagot ay alam ko nang tauhan siya ni Lola dahil sa logo na nakita ko sa left pocket nito sa kanyang coat.

The cute little anchor and the moon, I don't really know the meaning of that thing. All I knew is that, it's the symbol of the Dela Cruz clan, kung saan nabibilang si Lola.

"Ako po ang inutusan ni Señora para sunduin kayo. My name is Lyndon." napataas ang isa kong kilay nang magsalita ito ng tagalog. Hindi ko iyon inaasahan dahil mukhang wala sa itsura nito ang pagka-Pinoy. Or maybe he just knew how to speak the language.

"You can speak tagalog?"

"Sí Mi Señorita..."

Tumango lang ako bilang sagot, tsaka ko iminuestra ritong mauna na. Dahil wala naman akong malaking maletang dala, naging mabilis ang pagdating namin sa sasakyan.

He was all smile when he opened the door for me, wow, a perfect gentleman. Sana all.

I was about to enter the car, but I halted when I noticed something odd.

I can smell something, along with the car freshener.

"What's wrong Ms. Reige?" nagtataka nitong tanong, but I just looked at him intently, then I noticed something in his coat. Kung hindi mo iyon titignan ng maigi ay hindi talaga mapapansin dahil kulay itim ang coat.

One corner of my lips turned up when I saw another thing. It's his mistake. But then I chose not to tell him that. I want to have a little chat with this guy. Well, you can't see a charming guy like him everyday. Hehe.

Reige enebe, umayos ka.

"Nothing... You look good in this uniform by the way..." and I tapped his shoulder before entering the car. Nang muli ko itong sulyapan ay may pagtataka ang kanyang mukha. Probably thinking why I'm acting strange, or maybe not.

I immidiately texted Raven about my suspicions. I also activated the device in my watch para malaman niya ang location ko. Para mabilis niya akong ma-track.

Tinawagan ko na rin siya para sigurado, but then nagriring lang ang telepono niya. Hindi kaya natutulog ang kumag na iyon? Oh come on Rave! I need you this time!
