Kurama gave up his life to help Naruto defeat Jigen. Before Kurama can join the afterlife, his father Hagoromo Otsutsuki offers him a chance to help another world. Kurama accepted but didn't expect to start over as a kit.
Kurama looks at his surroundings. Salem and he just walked for a few hours and are standing in front of stairs leading up a mountain. Salem stopped in front of the stairs to gently put down a bouquet.
" Salem."
" Yes, Kurama?"
" Where are we? I can sense massive amounts of Unkown power coming from the other side of this mountain."
" We are at the Domain of Light., where The God of Light resides." Kurama's eyes snap towards Salem with worry.
" Salem, I don't think this is a good idea." Salem ignores Kurama and starts walking up the stairs until they come to a stop when reaching the top. Kurama stays on alert not liking the situation.
Once the Duo reach the bottom, Someone or something rises from the Pool in front of them.

When the being starts walking towards them, Kurama jumps off Salem's shoulder and gets into a fighting stance. Salem drops to her knees and begs.
"Please. Please bring him back to me. "
" I understand your pain, but you demand of me, that which I cannot make so. Life and Death are part of a delicate balance." Kurama wraps his tails around Salem. The God of Light looks towards Kurama.
" You are not from this world, you shouldn't even be here. Your presence disrupts the balance of this world."
" How can I even disrupt the balance of this world. To me, it seems like your trying to come up with an excuse, but for what?"
The God of Light looks back towards Salem. Kurama scoffs, not caring if he angered him.
" So you won't do it then? "
" To disrupt the cycle of-"
"But that's not fair. That's not fair!" Kurama jumps back on Salem's shoulder, Kurama growls at the God of Light.
" Let him rest," Kurama growls more aggressively not liking the tone the God used. In a second, Kurama and Salem find themselves at the entrance again.
"Salem, are you okay?" Salem not In the right state of mind, finally responds to the God of Light's response, ignoring Kurama.
"No." Salem turns around and starts walking away, hatred for the God of Light manifesting in her heart, something Kurama sensed.
