Kurama gave up his life to help Naruto defeat Jigen. Before Kurama can join the afterlife, his father Hagoromo Otsutsuki offers him a chance to help another world. Kurama accepted but didn't expect to start over as a kit.

Kurama lays near the window, looking out the window as Salem lets another letter flow with the wind. It's been a year since he decided to stay with Salem, and she wasn't wrong. Her father didn't visit her once. Kurama could feel all the negative emotions within Salem, just waiting to be unleashed.
Kurama has been helping Salem with Chores and Cooking. Mainly just getting the ingredients. Kurama has also watched Salem train with her Magic. Salem's been getting stronger by each month but her father was still much stronger. Salem has also tried to train Kurama, something that annoyed him.
Kurama just humored Salem by following her commands, not like he had anything else to do. Salem was happy to have a friend, someone who won't abandon her. Salem continues reading her book while petting Kurama.
Kurama ear's perk up when hearing fighting outside the tower. Salem notices this.
" What is it fluffy." Kurama groans at the name Salem gave him earlier in the year. Kurama stands in front of Salem protectively when sensing someone approaching. The door slams open.

" Who are you?"
" I'm Ozma, I take it your Salem." Ozma notices Kurama and readies himself to attack but Salem stops him.
"NO!! He is with me. Ozma meet fluffy." Kurama senses that Ozma doesn't hold any negative intentions towards Salem and calms down.
" I suggest we get out of here, I took down the barrier and the controlled armors." Ozma and Salem rush out with Kurama following. When they get to the hallway with the entrance, they freeze in their tracks.
Salem's father is waiting for them, ready with his staff and greatsword. He glares at Ozma.
" Who do you think you are, trespassing into my home, and attempting to kidnap my daughter," Kurama growls and Ozma glares.
" From the letter, it sounds to me like you kept her here against her will."
" She is safe here. Everything I do is for her, now I'm going to say this once, Step away from him Salem."
" No."
"What did you just say" Salem glares at her father and repeats the same thing.
"No, I won't be your prisoner any longer."
" I'm doing what's good for you Salem. I failed to protect your Mother, I won't fail to protect you."
" You already failed me, father," Salem said with Venom.
" Ever since my 4th birthday, I had to take care of myself. I remained hopeful that be day you will care about me again. That you would be there for me. But, I learned the truth, you don't care about me. I'm grateful that Mother passed away, she would have been disappointed in you." Kurama steps in front of Salem and Ozma when sensing Salem's father's power rise.
" YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT. AFTER EVERYTHING I HAVE DONE FOR YOU." A giant fireball gets hurled towards the group. Before Ozma and Salem could react, Nine tails encase them.
" What the?" Ozma looks down to notice Kurama protected them. Salem stares at Kurama with a worried expression but is relieved to see that he shows no signs of pain.
The tails unwrap themselves and Kurama growls at his opponent.
" You human. How do you feel, knowing you were about to kill your daughter. How did you even live with your life knowing you neglected and left her to fend for herself?"
Salem and Ozma's eyes widen when hearing Kurama talk.
" So, I was correct, You weren't a normal fox. To answer your question, I just learned to ignore Salem completely. Now, step aside you a stupid fox, or else you die with them." Kurama snaps and starts leaking out Chakra and bloodlust.
" YOU DARE. I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR HURTING SALEM. A FATHER IS SUPPOSE TO CARE FOR THEIR CHILDREN NOT HURT THEM." Kurama starts growing in size. Salem's father teleports outside when noticing Kurama's tails grow big enough to tear apart the ceiling.
Salem and Ozma barely hang on as debris stop falling. Salem and Ozma now see the sky. Salem looks forward and sees her father teleported a long distance. She looks to her left and right and sees giant ears, she looks down and realizes, Both she and Ozma are on top of Kurama's head.
Ozma and Salem watch as Kurama opens his mouth and creates a small dark sphere. Salem's eyes widen in horror when Kurama eats it.

Smoke comes out of both sides of Kurama's mouth. Kurama opens his mouth and a giant beam heads towards Salem's father. He can't react in time and gets disintegrated. Both Salem and Ozma are in awe at the damage done by the attack. Kurama lays down feeling exhausted. He shrinks back down to the size of a Dog. Salem and Ozma jumped down and landed with a problem.
" Are you okay fl?"
" Kurama, my name is Kurama, Salem."
"Are you okay Kurama?"
" I am, but I'm going to take a nap if you don't mind." Kurama closes his eyes and starts resting.
(Elsewhere)
"What was that amount of power I just sensed. Hmmm, looks like I will be paying my brother a visit soon."
(Elsewhere)
" This much power, this wasn't my brother. He isn't Reckless. Can't be a human since nobody can handle having this much power. How interesting, perhaps I will send my Hydra to investigate."
