This may be progress or not, but Jax fell asleep on the floor of the guest room. I don't know when he came in here, but I woke up at about three in the morning and I heard snoring. When I glanced over the bed, Jax was snuggled up in his blanket from his room and he was snoring quietly.

I kind of felt bad because of it.

I stepped out of bed and crouched down beside him, gently shaking him awake. He groaned quietly then turned over, his back facing me. With a sigh, I shook him again and he finally woke up.

"What?" He grumbled, rubbing his eyes.

"Jax, why're you on the floor?" I asked him, turning his head to face me.

"Because you've been having nightmares lately, and I want to be in here just in case you have another," he said, rubbing his eyes again.

"But you'll have back pains tomorrow if you sleep on the floor."

"I don't mind, baby. Just go back to sleep."

I pursed my lips when he turned back over as I sat on the side of the bed. Jax said he didn't mind sleeping on the floor, but I also don't find it fair. He did say he was gonna try and be there for me, and I guess this is his first step.

Crouching next to him again, I unwrapped the blanket from around him then brought his sleepy body onto the bed. Jax laid down slowly and I followed, getting back in my spot, bringing my arms around my pillow.

Jax shifted behind me and I then felt his arms around me and pull me against his chest. My body tensed for a bit but then I felt it relax. A slow smile formed on my face along with my eyes closing.

I turned over, moving my hand across Jax's spot. When I didn't feel him there, my eyes fluttered open but I then heard the shower running. Turning over, I closed my eyes again before I felt kisses all over my face. I let out a quiet whine then turned on my back, my eyes opening once more.

Jax stood above me then kissed my forehead with a smile.

"Jax," I whined. "Your hair is dripping on me."

"It's just water, babe."

"So?"

A slow grin formed on his face before he shook his head, splashing me. I quickly brought the pillow over my face, squealing. He pulled the pillow off my head and I quickly dove under the blanket. Jax laughed from above me then gently pulled the blankets down, looking at me.

He chuckled quietly when I smiled at him before he kissed my cheek repeatedly. My cheeks then started to warm when my eyes scanned down and he didn't have a shirt on.

"J-Jax?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you put a shirt on... please?" I asked, looking up at him again.

"Sorry, baby. I'll go get one."

Pecking my lips, he walked out to his room and I pulled the blanket back over my face while breathing out slowly. When he walked back in, I pulled the blanket down then sat up, humming.

"Changed your bandage recently?" He asked, sitting beside me.

"Not since I showered last night," I told him.
