(Janet Dream POV)

"YOU WERE IN BED WITH ANOTHER WOMAN!!!! I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO DIVORCE YOU!!!" I screamed. My body was trembling with anger, betrayal, fear, and heartbreak.

"YOU DIDN'T WANNA FUCK ME ANYMORE, SO I FOUND SOMEONE WHO WOULD!!! THIS IS ALL ON YOU YOU FUCKING DRUNK!!!" Roger screamed, his beer can crunched up under the pressure of his fist.

"WE'RE GETTING A DIVORCE AND IM GETTING FULL CUSTODY OF RILEY!!! YOU WON'T EVER HURT HER AGAIN!!!"

"I DIDN'T HIT HER!!!" Roger roared.

"YES YOU FUCKING DID! YOU WERE FUCKING DRUNK AND THREW A GLASS PLATE AT HER THEN CONTINUED TO BEAT ME!!!!"

Roger had enough. He lunged forward, tackled me, took my wine bottle, and began to hit me with it. He kept beating me. My whole face was bleeding. My body was shaking and I couldn't breathe.

BOOM BOOM

Police broke down the door and came storming in. They threw Roger off of me and knocked him unconscious.

"Go get the child that called us,"said one officer. The other one nodded and ran off.

The officer came over and helped to calm me. "Hey it's okay. Everything is okay. He won't hurt you anymore. Just breathe. Your kid is very smart. She called us when she heard the yelling. We heard everything. I promise that you will get full custody of your child and that Roger will be locked away for a very long time."

I simply nodded. The officer opened his mouth to say something else when a different voice came through.

"Janet!!!"

(Katrina POV)

I just hold Janet as Riley and the boys continue playing. Riley was ready to leave at a moments notice. Her and the boys had decided to play in the back yard while I held Janet.

I look down at her. She was sleeping so peacefully. I sigh and kiss her forehead again. I don't know whether she felt the last kiss or not. Or this kiss as well. I guess we'll only know when she wakes up.

All of a sudden Janet began to groan. She was wincing and starting to talk. I realized she might've been having a nightmare.

"Janet?" I said gently shaking her. The fire continued until she was crying in her sleep. I knew it wouldn't be long before she started screaming, so I shook her more violently.

"Janet!!!" I said, pouring all my emotions into her name.

She bolted upright, eyes wide, and began to sob. I hug her.

"Shhh it's okay. It was just a dream. You're safe now," I said. Janet sobbed harder and buried herself in me. I knew that she was fearful, but I didn't know why.

"I- I had a dream. Well it wasn't exactly a dream. More of a flashback. It was when I told Roger I wanted a divorce. We were yelling and-and he beat me. Riley was only two, yet she called the police and they took him away. I don't know if Riley even remembers," Janet sobbed.

I didn't say anything. I just held her tighter. I wanted her to know that she was safe. She eventually began to stop trembling.

"I- I'm sorry Katrina," Janet whispered.

I just hugged her and sighed. Eventually we find a comfortable position. I was sitting upright while Janet's face was in my neck. I just hold her as a means to comfort her.

Janet then does something I least expect. I look down at her to find her staring at me. My face flushes slightly before Janet kissed me passionately. I moan ever so slightly and melt into the kiss.

Finally I came to my senses and pulled away. I got up and backed away from Janet.

"You stay here okay? I'll go get Riley," I said. I didn't give her a chance to respond. I just walked out.

(Janet POV)

I just sat there watching Katrina walk away from me. Okay so maybe I kissed her. I don't know what had gotten into me. I mean I'm straight....right?

I decide to take a look around Katrina's house as long as I didn't look in the third drawer of her dresser. An old photo album catches my eye. It was written in Russian, but the photos... I knew I had to take a look.

I open it and see a 10-year-old Katrina shaking hands with an older man. It seemed as if she got a job. I see Katrina with her family. I see Katrina with her boys. I also come across a photo of me and Katrina, hugging, laughing our ass' of. I smile and gently ran my thumb over the photo.

I finally turn the page and what I see takes my breath away. Katrina and a very attractive male. They were kissing. Katrina looked about 20 in this photo, and the male seemed to be the same age. He had ruffled black hair, blue-green eyes, and was decently tall. He was definitely good looking.

I turned the page to find Katrina and the male in front of a house. They were both holding hands with their backs to the house. The guy was smiling wide while Katrina had a sad look in her eye. Her shoulders seemed a bit tense, as if waiting for an attack. Other than that, she looked very happy.

I feel an emotion stir inside of me. One that I couldn't place. Katrina looked happy here. The male seemed like he was very happy. So why did he have to leave?

I close the photo album and walk back to the living room. I look outside to find Katrina playing with the kids. I smile and let them do their thing. Riley and I might never leave this house, but I don't think that's something either of us are really opposed to.

RINNNGGGGGG

My phone goes off so I answer it, very confused.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hello Janet. We've never met, but we have a similar contact," said the voice. It was a raspy male voice with an unmistakable Russian accent.

"Katrina?"

"Da," replied the voice.

"Okay so why call me?" I asked.

"Because she is too scared to answer me. I'll make this simple and easy for you. Betray Katrina, or you, your kid, and her kids die."
