While searching for Erica and Boyd, Dereck informs Olivia that an alpha pack has come to town. On the first day of school Olivia finds herself building a connection with a certain twin. After rescuing Boyd, Olivia reunites with her older sister Cora and her twin brother Lucas. Later Stiles, Scott, and Allison go into an ice bath in order to find the nemeton and save their parents from the darrach.

After being ignored by Allison and Lydia, Olivia walks out of the library with a very concerned alpha behind her.
"Hey are you ok?" he asks her as he turns her to face him
"Yea" she says very unconvincingly she looks up at him.
"Then why do you seem so sad?" he asks softly
"uh my friends are ignoring me" Olivia responds while running a hand through her hair
"Well they can't be very good friends if they ignore you" he replies
"They don't. Usually. They've just been really busy lately" she says
"Well if you ever need a friend... I'm here" he told her. He wasn't sure why put her felt a strong pull towards the girl.
"What?" she asks almost shocked
"If you need a friend, i'll be here little bird" He says with a smile
"Little bird?"she asks confused
"Yeah. You remind me of a baby bird. So from now on that's what i'm gonna call you" He tells her softly
"Little bird. I like it" she says while giggling
"Looks like I cheered you up" he says with a big smile on his face
"Yeah I guess you did" she responds
"Alright well I should get back but I shall see you later little bird. Oh and I'm Aiden by the way" he introduces
"Olivia. But everyone calls me Liv" she tells him
"Alright Liv, my little bird, I'll see you later" he says while walking back towards the library
"Bye" she says as she waves at him which he returns "His little bird. Cool" Olivia whispers to herself. Unaware of why she feels such a strong pull towards the alpha or why the nickname makes her so happy.

"My mother died" Allison says after her and Lydia show Derek and Olivia their bruises
"Ok and?" Olivia says as she rolls her eyes as she boredly dropped Lydia's arm
"Excuse me?" Allison asks shocked
"Your mom died. So what? Stiles' mom is dead. Derek and I are missing our entire family excluding Peter so don't you dare try to play that card" Liv says
"I thought you were on my side" Allison says
"I haven't been on your side since you emptied a clip into me and shot arrows at my sister" Olivia tells her as she growls and glows her eyes at the Argent girl before leaving the room

Olivia goes to the animal clinic to talk to Deaton about the pull she feels towards Aiden.

Olivia wakes up from a nap in Derek's loft in time to hear the plan about breaking into the bank.
