It had been months since the twins left the McCall house that night, months since they spoke to the mccall pack besides Scott, months since Olivia lost her twin flame. During that time, Liv had met Mason Hewitt one of her best friends and Lucas and Brandon started dating.
But now, don't ask them how because they couldn't tell you, they were sitting in a club in Mexico, watching the members of the McCall pack, each doing their own thing, trying to get their older brother Derek back from hunters.
Liv and lucas weren't stupid. They knew where they were. They knew who these people were. A trained group of hunters called the Caliveras. They had an interesting way of torture. But they wasn't about to tell the McCall pack that. They just wanted Derek back so then they could go back to ignoring them.
The twins older brother approaching them broke them from their thoughts.
"Why the hell did we agree to helping you?" Lucas questions annoyed
"We aren't even in your pack. Nor do we like any of them. Well except Malia" Taytum says honestly, causing the older werecoyte, who was listening to their conversation, to smile to herself.
"That's true. But you love Derek. So thank you for helping. And thank you for not killing Stiles on the way here" Scott says directing the last part at Olivia who looked at him exasperated
"You tied me up with ropes made of wolfsbane. I couldn't even shift if i wanted to" Olivia says causing Scott to give a sheepish smile
"Sorry. Deaton's idea" Scott said as his heart beat slightly raised
"Liar" Olivia says before downing her drink. "Go on your mission. We'll keep an eye on them"
"Alright" Scott says as he gets up to do his part of the mission. As he leaves the twins sees hunters beginning to surround Kira and Malia. Instead of helping they sit back and watch. "Interesting" Lucas states as Malia takes down hunter after hunter. As the kitsune and werecoyote follow in the direction Scott went in, the twins get up and leave the club and heads to Stiles's jeep.
"I'm getting to old for this shit" Olivia says before laying down in the back seat and taking a nap while Lucas plays games on her phone

Olivia wakes up hours later by being shaken. She growls loudly hoping the person would leave her alone but when they don't she opens her eyes and roars at them, only to find that it was Malia, causing Olivia to smile sheepishly
"Sorry" she says, still shifted.
"I'm sorry I woke up up" Malia says before kissing the young werewolf's head.
"Oh so she gets a 'sorry' but I get bitten" Lucas says in exasperation
"Suck it up buttercup" Olivia says with a smile before shifting into her full coyote form and allowing Malia to play with her fur while Lucas pouts
"So what now?" Stiles asks as Scott walks over to the car
"She thinks she knows where we can find Derek" He answers with a shrug before laughing at the half asleep coyote on Malias lap.
"she's gonna tell us where?" Malia questions
"Uh actually she's giving us a guide" Scott answers as someone pulls up to them in a motorcycle causing the coyote to raise her head before transforming back.
"Braeden" Olivia squeals before hugging the women
"Hi Liv" the women responds while hugging her back
"Who's Braeden" Malia questions
"She's a mercenary" Lydia responds
"Right now I'm the only one who's gonna take you to La Iglesia" Braeden says causing Lydia to raise an eyebrow and Liv to sigh
"The church? What's the church" Lydia questions causing Braden and Liv to share a look
"It's not a place you'll find God" Lucas says

"Ok I'll ask...who's Kate Argent" Malia asks after a moment of silence as they follow Braeden in the jeep
"Uh, I'd like to know too" Kira states awkwardly
"Well, we were at her funeral, so I'd like to know how she got out of a casket that was buried six feet underground" Stiles questions
"Easy. She was never in it" Liv answers as she lays across Malia's lap
"She was Allison's aunt and a total sociopath" Lydia answers causing Olivia to scoff
"That's an insult to uncle Peter" She states causing Lydia, Scott and Stiles to nod in agreement
"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to" Kira says and Malia stares at her
"Um yes they do" she states, annoyed
"She's right. You guys should know. You need to know" He said
"Kate was the one who set the fire that killed most of the twins family." Stiles states and Scott nodded. "Some of them survived, like Peter, Luke and Cora" Scott says
"A very angry Peter" Lydia chuckles and they nodded
"Yeah he's the one who bit and turned me" Scott says and lydia interjected
"And the only one who finally caught up to Kate and killed her" she said
"And for that we say thank you uncle peter" Liv and Lucas say in unison before drifting off to sleep

The twins woke up to a familiar scent. One that they hadn't smelled in years but still recognized. Upon opening thier eyes, they glowed their signature steel blue color as they sees who it is.
"I knew I should've stayed home" Lucas grumbles under her breathe as he looks at the younger Derek Hale.
"Damn" Liv says before laying her head on Derek's chest, Lucas doing the same causing Derek to wrap his arm around them
