After finding Derek in Mexico the McCall Pack as well as Olivia and Lucas made their way back to Beacon Hills and head for the Animal Clinic to see if Deaton knew what was going on with Derek. When the twins woke up from their nap they noticed Derek's hand was latched on to their wrists. Ignoring the conversation that the others were having Lucas tries to pry his hand from his grasp but is unsuccessful
"Guys a little help" Lucas says annoyed as the twins try to pull away from Derek. After a few minutes they finally manage to get them out of his grasp. "Finally. And now goodnight. Don't call me unless he's dying" Lucas says before leaving the clinic with a sleepy Olivia

"Yo Jordan" Liv says as she and Lucas walks into the sheriff's office the next day and sees one of the deputies.
"Hi Liv, Lucas" he replies as he side hugs her
"Hey. Is our brother in the office" Lucas asks
"Yup. And just a heads up so is Stiles" Jordan tells
"Thank you. This is why you're my favorite deputy." Liv says loudly so the other deputy, Haigh, is able to hear. She never liked him. He gave her a bad feeling.
As the twins are about to walk into the office they passes Derek, who was sitting on the bench and, and he grabs their wrists.
"Via, Lu, what's going on? Where's our family" He asks her
"What" Olivia asks in surprise
"I woke up in the animal clinic and I ran home but the house was burnt down. Guys what happened? Where's mom, Laura, or Peter?" Derek questions with teary eyes
"Der I promise to tell you everything. Alright? But you have to trust me. Ok" Olivia asks softly and Derek nods his head "Ok just give us a few minutes to talk to the sheriff" she tells him. He nods his head and lets go of their wrists, allowing them to go into the office.
Upon entering Liv smacks both Stiles and Scott on the back of the head.
"What happened and what did you do" Lucas asks aggravated
"He kinda escaped and ran to the old Hale house. Parrish and Haigh found him and brought him here" Scott says shyly as he looked at the floor. He always did this when the twins were upset. He may be a True alpha but an angry Lucas and or Liv was a scary Lucas and Liv.
"Why would he go to our old house" Lucas questions, not seeing where this was going
"Deaton thinks he's younger in mind too" Scott explains
"So he doesn't remember the fire" Liv questions as she begins piecing everything together
"Nope" Stiles says
"Then how does he remember us" Lucas asks causing the other three men in the room to look at him shocked and confused
"What do you he remembers you" Stiles questioned causing Olivia to roll her eyes .
"He means before we walked in here he grabbed our wrist and asked us what happened to our family" Olivia says
"So?" Stiles asks causing Lucas to groan in annoyance
"Do we have to spell it out? The last time Derek saw us when he was that age was when he left for school that morning. As far as he knew we were both dead until last year. Well more recently a few months ago. He recognized us but he shouldn't. I mean it's not like we look the same as when we were kids" Olivia explained as she gestured to her body and her highlights, which were now bright purple and then toward her brother who was now 3 inches taller than her.
"We'll figure it out. But first we have to figure out what we tell him about the fire" Scott says earning a nod from Stiles
"Easy. We tell him the truth. That's our brother. We won't lie to him" Olivia says earning a nod of agreement from Lucas before Brandon walked into the office
"You went to Mexico without me?!" Brandon yelled causing the twins to rush out of the office while Brandon chased them
"It wasn't my choice" Liv yelled back

Scott ended up lying to Derek and after receiving an angry lecture from Lucas, while looking at the floor like a kicked puppy, he told him, Liv and stiles to take Derek to his house which is where they were now. Liv was zoned out on what they were saying as she sensed someone else in the house. She was pulled out of her thoughts by Derek's voice.
"Can I talk to them" Derek questions
"Yes/No" Stiles and the twins said in unison. Derek looked between the three and chose to listen to his siblings
"Who's going to talk to him" Derek asked as Liv finally saw her dad in the other room
"Hi dad/Rafe" Liv and Lucas say blankly
"Oh my god are you getting taller" Stiles asks as he sees the man
"Stiles, Liv, Lucas, who's your friend" Rafe asks
"That's Stiles's cousin, Miguel. He's from Mexico" Liv explains to Rafe as she points at her oldest brother. Derek looks at her questionably before turning to Rafe, who begins speaking to him in Spanish, Rafe asks the three if they want to eat with him, stiles answers no but Derek and the twins answer yes.

Dinner gets awkward and Derek asks Rafe about the Hale Fire seeing as he's an FBI agent. After learning the truth about what happened he goes upstairs to Scott's room as the twins and Stiles follow him.
"Why didn't you tell me? I thought we were supposed to trust each other" Derek says as they get to Scott's room
"I'm sorry. I didn't have the heart to tell you so I asked Scott to do it. It didn't know he was going to lie to you." Olivia says before she and Lucas pull Derek into a hug.
"I'm sorry we didn't tell you" Lucas says as Derek pulls away
"Don't worry. You're not the one I'm mad at" Derek says before turning to Stiles and pinning him to the wall. After a few minutes Stiles, Liv and Lucas leave the room to talk to Scott, and when they come back they see Derek leaving with Kate Argent.
