^^ Hal
There's a long silence, then finally Hal says, "I don't have anyone else to go to."
"Who or what did this to you? I thought you're a god," I ask.
"Nothing is invincible, not even gods," he responds.
So there is a way for him to die? My heart races, is he weak enough now that there's a chance? But even if I do kill him, what will happen? What if he's the only way to get back to Earth?
And more importantly, even in his weakened state, could I really kill him?
"So if I were to stab you with this knife right now, you'd die?" I say pulling out a double edged knife from my boot.
"Don't get your hopes up too much, that little thing couldn't kill me. I may not be fully invincible but there is no way a mortal could kill me," he replies.
"Really?" I look at him skeptically. I throw the knife at him, but instead of stabbing him, it just bounces off, not even making a small scratch.
"If you were just going to try and kill me why would you go to all the effort to heal me?" he questions me.
"You know I'd love to kill you. If you don't want me to, why would you come here wounded?" I retort.
He sighs, "Fair enough," he lets out a loud yawn and stretches, "I'm so tired."
He teleports, and the next thing I know, he's sleeping in my bed, wrapped in my blanket.
"You could've teleported to any bed, why mine?!?!" I shout.
He opens one of his golden eyes, "This one is the most comfy."
"Fine! But I'm leaving!" I reply.
I open the window to my room, and take my wings out. I fly out the window, soaring into the sky. I couldn't leave normally since I can't risk anyone seeing me not accompanying the prince or they'll report me to my parents.
I keep flying until I pass the cliffs that the castle sits on. Behind the castle, under the cliffs is the ocean. The waves crash against the rocky shore, spraying sea foam up.
"Wow it's so beautiful here!" exclaims Hal. I almost fall off of the rock I'm sitting on.
"When did you get here?!?!" I ask.
"It was getting kind of boring in your room, so I came here," he explains.
The ocean breeze rustles his white hair and sun illuminates his skin making it look as if he is glowing.
He truly looks like an angel that descended from heaven.
"You know, I don't come down to the planet a lot," he says.
"Really, why not? Isn't this your planet after all?" I answer.
"Most gods don't go down to the planet. We sort of just rule above it. For instance, I would create an ocean like this one, but I wouldn't actually go down and see it. It's considered improper for gods to do so. We're supposed to be above that stuff," he explains.
"How would you get to enjoy what you make then? I mean what's the point of it all?" I say.
He shrugs, "Why do we do anything? For as long as I can remember I've been told that I have to be a certain way. That even if I have the power to create or destroy entire planets, I have to rule over them in a certain way," he replies, "Ultimately, we all have to be controlled by someone, so even I can't do whatever I please."
"Didn't you bring me here though? That can't have been allowed, since I belonged to Earth," I guess.
He laughs, "Yes, that was my little act of rebellion. We'll see how that goes," he says.
