Waking up early to get ready for training was not an easy thing to do today but it's worth it because of yesterday. I didn't really know what to expect as I don't really know Kacey that well. I am enjoying getting to know her, and I find myself wanting to know more than I probably should, especially since I'm in a relationship with Alliyah. Every time I speak to Kacey, I have to try and control myself. Conversation comes so naturally with her and I can tell she's genuine. Her being disabled doesn't phase me in the slightly, obviously it makes me aware that I might need to take it into consideration with things but there's more to her. I don't understand why people are afraid of disabilities, but it definitely makes me more protective over my sister. I think I would be like that with Kacey if we got to hang out more.

I'm at the training ground and we're all doing the dribbling, and the rest of it, but I keep losing myself. Normally, I'm so focused on what I'm doing. Today, however, I'm slacking. Some of the other guys have noticed. They keep taking the mick out of me, and telling me I'm losing my touch. Thankfully, I know they're just joking around with me.

Trying to focus on the training, I fade out the chatter amongst the other players and everyone. Keeping my head down seems to be helping somewhat slightly. The session eventually ends and we're all making our way to the restaurant at the stadium for dinner. My phone rings, looking at the screen, I reluctantly answer...

"Hey Alliyah, you alright? What? Again? Okay, I guess that's that."

—-

"What do you mean? I don't know what else you want me to say babe. I'm on my dinner break."

—-

"Why do I need to.... Look, why don't we chat when I get back home where I'm not surrounded by people? Alliyah, you there?"

Okay, what's her problem, I can feel a stress kind of headache forming. I sigh. I gulp down the rest of my drink, and go to empty my plate. My appetite has gone. I make my way to the gym. I need to work this stress off.

I'm running on the treadmill when I hear my teammate' Richie Stephenson calling my name so I change the settings to slow myself down. I turn to see Stephenson walking towards me.

"Hey Grainger, did you forget that we are in here this afternoon? You'll be overdoing it. You okay, mate?"

—-

"Yeah, I'm fine, just got a lot on my mind. I forgot about the gym session. Guess I was just feeling extra keen, ah ha!"
